My wife was standing right next to Cheyanne when the KB Team manager was yelling at her. My wife told the man that he has no right to talk to her that way and was able to get her dad’s attention (he was standing like 10 yards away). Its a shame that something like this happened. I have known the Godino’s since they started racing and for someone to start yelling at a little girl for of all things a team sheet, its just sad.
How could someone post that on there team website and think its a good thing for the team?

I asked two key individuals that work in our registration booth if we were ready for the open (i.e.: Registration info, who we give the check from the registered riders to, how the points are kept…. standard things to think about for this type of event).
Chris,
We have tried to set this series up so that the extra work for the State Clerk is minimal. The Open race is already part of the State series, all we are doing is trying to make it more interesting for the older riders and the younger riders also.Since most of us are going to be at the National this weekend, if we can all find time to sit down and go over how we can all work together on getting the series off to a good start. We are more than happy to explain to everyone how this can work.
We are not in anyway trying to make this a “US vs. THEM” thing, all we are looking to do is to make the NJ state series as big as it can be.
Thanks for your post Chris, and in no way are we trying to give anyone a hard time about this.
tpbmxtdMemberThe website was done by Mr. Brett….Thank you
The poster on the site was done by Hyper’s graffic guy….Thanks
The site is up for the purpose of promoting the series and to give the riders who run the series a place to view points….There are also more updates and features coming for the site.
Thanks should also go out to Rich Farside, because of his determination, he was able to get this series going for the riders. Our hope is that this series will be the start of something great for the NJ/Eastern PA riders.
The last big Thank you goes out to Scott Cranmer and Vinnie Mannio for helping us get the oppurtunity to try and give the older riders a chance to showcase there talents.
To all the riders/parents who had some input into this, we say thanks.
I am just the messenger and behind the scences guy, so lets go out and make this series one to remember.

so what about the k -3 kids???
Loren,
This is the perfect age to try and get interested in BMX. Every year we send out flyers to our local elementary schools. We have found that when you give flyers to the older kids they just throw them away, but the younger children are more likely to take them home to there parents.Just my 2 cents.
