I was the first guy to the scene. He really missed getting decapitated by a few inches. He was sorta out of it. Then screamed “Who the Frig put this camper here!!!!” His back actually slammed the guys stabilzer jack. Glad that he didn’t get inured to badly. He forks dug so far down into the side of the triple that his wheel barried up to the hub.

Also sorry about your protest. They never asked me over the walkie talkie if i made a bad call. Once again i am sorry. Glad that your son won 8 rookie. Just means my son won’t be able to look at the back of his jersey much longer.

A dad saved my ass last weekend. Pulled Nikotas bike outa the storage closet and threw it in the truck. I get to the track and he has a flat. I wait for Beacon to open up. The old guy just laughs at me and says that he doesn’t have any 1 1/8 tubes!! One of the other dads heard me talking to Legend and told me he had 3 extra tubes in his truck. i walk over get a tube and try to shove 5 bucks in his hand and his refuses it and just says he was glad he could help. Pay it forward indeed!!
Definatley count my 8 rookie son in there if Greg will take him. I would love for him to learn from one of the best Hall Of Fame BMX racers of all time.
OK here’s a rookie question. If it is raining are we still racing this weekend? I know that in the ABA(10 years ago) that if it is raining at a national or other big race with people coming from out of state we still raced. Is that true here also?

Wow ANT I must comend you on not using CAPS to start a thread. I guess the talk with me and Chris worked!!:) I finally rode the track today and it faster than I thought it was. Hope to see everyone out there Tuesday for the final pre-regional working party.

I can vouch about the CRAZY FRIENDS part.. Saturday night was hilarious watching Dave play “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours”. Best part of the weekend had to be Dave Sunday morning in his PJ’s standing outside the motto boards still drunk from 3 hours earlier!

I went with my son to watch it on saturday night… I was shocked that me and my son and 4 other people were the only ones there. The guys said they sold about 40 tickets at the track but nooooooone showed up.. My son was in shock one how those guys could such CRAZY tricks on a bike. I just had to laugh. It was a great bonding expeience for me and him especially since he is soo new to the whole sport.
