TenaciousDMember
dude, you on vacation or something ?
Your all over this site lately 😯
TenaciousDMemberWhere were you thinking of going to ?
TenaciousDMemberI know this was announced at the meeting this past Sunday because i heard Lisa announce it but was listening to two people talk at once and don’t remember what she said.
For the people who race the Presidents cup, they get their jersey and i think the entrance fee reimbursed correct ?
If so, when does that happen ?
TenaciousDMemberId like to rock a mullet just to see the reactions from people.
Oh, that reminds me. Who reading this remember Danny Millwee with a mullet riding for Auburn ?. He got caught smoking pot then was forever known as Danny Millweed
TenaciousDMembercoming from middlesex you would go over the raritan river (the bridge that is being worked on) make a right at next light, the park that always gets flooded will be on your right. once you are past the park and the bend in the road the road becomes straight for a bit. On this straight part of the road go to about the third street on your left and park on that street. the trails are just off the road that you turned off of. you have to go over the guardrail and down a hill (you will see the trail) once down the hill just follow that path.
TenaciousDMemberYep, behind the park…Mayor found out about them and had em plowed.
Um yeah, about that land in Somerville….

TenaciousDMemberOk, um where you coming from ?
yeah, Manville is full of Polish peeps. Im Polish too (no jokes)
That town used to hold the record for most bars in one town (its true)
Not sure if its still the record holder though.
Uncle Davies
the north side
pour mans pub
rhythms
gottos
bar at the bowling alley
pizza & pasta
the chester house
spotlights
Drewbesi can probably go on…
TenaciousDMemberI live in Finderne, the next town over from Manville.
The 420’s have been plowed but there are HUUUGGE jumps that have been built in manville just off of Dukes parkway near the football field where that carnival is held every year.
Let me know if your interested and i’ll give ya directions.
TenaciousDMemberYes Loren,
Around the Fall Classic time Jeff did mention to me about possibly sending me to the Competition Congress meeting being held in AC. There was nothing solid though.
Again, im trying to take a “bigger picture” approach to all of this instead of looking at the little details. The little details will eventually take care of themselves with the proper approach.
P.S. I scanned the flyer about the HC awards banquet to post up here but for the life of me cannot figure out how to post pics in here. So if anyone can give me dummy proof directions on how to put up a pic give me a shout. Its really starting to annoy me. 👿
TenaciousDMemberI am not looking to debate anything and not looking for a response.
It makes sense to me that the people who are currently running things @ HCBMX in fact DO stay on in their current roles even though others have been nominated.
Reason ?
Most businesses would not get rid of their upper management in one fell swoop to be replaced by people who may have an idea of how to run things but have never actually “run the show”
There needs to be a transition of sorts IMHO.
If people have chosen to stay on for one more year as a transition then so be it.
(the matter of elections and the process of them i cannot comment on since i do not know enough about that particular subject at the moment)
To me, by individuals choosing to stay in order to show others the ropes that are getting more involved says to me the current people do in fact care and want to see the track continue.
I am not taking “sides” with anyone or anything. i am simply stating what i feel to be the correct way for proceeding where the riders are least effected.
TenaciousDMemberWow, Round Vally with lights sounds fun as h#ll !
Definitely need to get a ride going for all who want to once all these banquets are done with.
TenaciousDMemberYes Brett, there is a moderator for HCBMX.
he was fixing an Exchange server and could not be here any sooner.People, please do not bash HCBMX, or the people who are currently in charge of the track.
We all have our opinions on what should or should not be done or how they should or should not go about doing it.
As far as i know, after the banquet there is an open forum for suggestions for next year. The word being open, to me, translates to anyone who wishes to help.
Also, I have been told that the banquet was suppose to be held at Shields Skate park but the owner refused Matts reservation because of the number of people he wanted to have attend the banquet. That requested number of people would have forced the owner to close the place to the public for that alloted time period and he did not want to do that.
Matt is suppose to call me sometime this week.
Post any questions in this thread for me to ask him if you wish.
** NOTE** i am not on the board for HCBMX. I have simply asked Matt & Jeff and have been granted permission to post items for HCBMX in this section of BS.net
TenaciousDMemberCool. As soon as this crazy season of BMX is done id like to hit the trails.
oh yeah, about the MTB thing on a BMX track. It was done at HCBMX back in the day at the “new” track. I remember Guy Stevenson and a few others came out and did two laps.
The current last straight didnt exist and they had to ride straight through where the last turn is now, make a left up the hill and go through staging.
P.S. Good luck tonight.
TenaciousDMemberYou two need your own reality tv show… 😆
TenaciousDMemberI still want to know what shime is 😆
really, was that a typo or something ?
New form of caucasian ebonics i missed out on ?
help me out here.
