training has been all over the place– work is super busy, busy at home and been battling injuries over and over– can’t seem to get away from them.

more tracks=more exposure=more riders and more vols
will say that i had heard somethng while at the nat last weekend and i hope to God its not true… will know this weekend “fo sho”…if it is true i can tell you now i will be very very upset and you wont be hearing from me any longer.

i’m guilty– with every track being at least an hour or more from home– i don’t vol much. — i pick up trash everymorning at the egg and that’s about it.
when mullica was still open (5 min from home) i was there like 4 times a week
i barelly race locals because tracks are so far
while you may think more tracks will hurt the ones we have– think about 15 years ago when tere was a track like 15 minutes in any dirrection.
more tracks will bring out more people– bringing more vols.
how many parents are going to be willing to get little timmy in BMX when they have to drive an hour top do so, or soccer lie three minutes from home
i’ve been thinking about the dust bowl– not there any more– but niether is the pool– and taking a page from trilogy– old pool sites are good areas for tracks– they do nothing else with that park these days– besides softball bar leuges.
i most likely will not be attending sunday at hc– but can do sat at cj
word on the streets is that they will be up soon.

my main issue with clips is that they are… well… dorkish.
they look silly.
regardless of how they feel– just not my style– and not alot of people’s style, look how big street and park riding is right now– and even though it was dropped from the x-games–dirt jumping.
they are dressed like they would dress any other day– no slippers, no leathers, just jeans (tight or loose) and a shirt.
i’ve said this before– head to your local trails, or skatepark with your aluminum bike, leathers and clips and see how you get looked at.
you can get away with the bike, MAYBE even the leathers(but i doubt it), forget about clips.
just my opinion, i know racing isn’t about fashion, but look at it from an outsider’s perspective. bmx racing isn’t accepted as a legit spport like road racing is, so we cant pull of the same type of thing like spandex or clips.
