s4lnjMember$250 to camp— insane–
lets see– nice hotel for $250
or wake up sore with morning dew on my ass for $250
thanks NBL for the great deal on a 10×10 peice of grass

s4lnjMemberwelcome to the machine…
i can see the ten locals thing– that is the state series job, to help promote the locals– but the problem lies in that people don’t give a rats ass about the state series– we need to get people to stop chasing the national circus. NBL is helping us by steadilly raising entry fees– but there are still plate chasers out there..
we get more people to race state series and it will bring more money in so that we can get more in return for our $20 per race.
bmx racing is in a sad state right now, and the sanctions are to blame….
i could go on and on.

s4lnjMemberracing the state races gives you the privilage of being able to buy a jersey.
i love bmx, but there are a million places i would rather be on christmas than friggin ohio.
s4lnjMembertraining— i scared him a couple weeks ago when i promised to hand him a loss this season.
he was trembling- you should have seen it, i saw him afterward on the phone with greg hill adjusting his training schedule.

hi scotts4lnjMemberawesome
s4lnjMemberhow high?– i need to know
s4lnjMemberi try to eat more than two , but less than four hours before a race.
and if you eat healthy all the time– there is no reason to change on race day.
between motos i have watered down gatotrade– the theory behind gatorade is great– but it has too much sugar and sodium– so i water it down– to still get replacement of the good stuff.no carb loading– in a 45 second race you will never use it.
i also stay away from acidic fruits like oranges and apples, especially on race day or hard training days
thge best advise i have heard to date on nutrition was this
“don’t be fat,”
and that was it

s4lnjMemberwhy do people’s shoes blow off when they have big slams?
s4lnjMemberi found myself not getting out of the gate or turns fast enough– at first i just figured i would train harder, but sometimes life doesn’t allow it– so i geared down to a 42-16.
you just have to get some track time in to find what feels good to you
daves4lnjMembernew guys must be beat in first 😈
just kiddin— will chime in a little later when i have a bit more time–
welcom back
