congrats— sounds like it’s time to move up.
s4lnjMemberdon’t sweat it– you love riding, and you will make the time. it may be less then before, but you will get it in.
at one point when i was first married, i..
worked full time
college full time
ran track for college
coached high school wrestling
played in a men’s rough touchfootball league
played bass in a band
worked on the house and being a husband
and still found time to ride– didn’t race– but i rodeall at once
you will find the time– dont worry. just don’t let school go to the wayside– so one day you will have a job that allows you more riding time.

s4lnjMemberdude there is nothing dumb about mullets, acid wash jeans, hairspray that put jersey girls on the map, irocs, and spandex……..wait maybe there is
s4lnjMemberbmx is like crack– rich took a couple of pump laps at the clinic and he was itching for a new cruiser. did that ever pan out ?
s4lnjMemberyou guys should rock those cool little frenchie style hats they used to wear with the brim flipped up– almost like a welders hat, but lighter material.
s4lnjMemberwe should all get pie plates with our #s.
s4lnjMemberi see what brett means– the uk ride is much….. “smarter” for lack of a better term. the writing is much better, when they cover a road trip, you get more than just who fell where and who threw up. you can actually get a feel if that was somewhere you may want to take your bike to one day. to bad most places are over the pond and most of us will never get the chance.
as far as racing– everyso often they print letters asking for race coverage and they say that as much as they respect the work that goes into racing, it’s just not thier thing.
s4lnjMembernevermind– the nutrition section in the book is very short and general.
but the rest is pretty interesting, very bmx specific training
s4lnjMemberbmx training, a scientific approach
i believe you find it on http://www.ultimate-exercise.com

s4lnjMemberbrett we could go on and on– we’ve touched on the reasons for racings downward spiral over and over and over. our cries fall on def ears

s4lnjMemberi believe there was a hint of sarcasam in tier statement–
s4lnjMemberRIDE said that–
s4lnjMemberThe series should be completely open without need to race class at any race.
i agree– me and rich had said that from the begining– but the stipulation was that we had to run class.
so it was either do it that way or not do it. we chose the latter. hopefully it’s something that can be rectified for next year. i hope to be a little freed up and be more involved at that point.

poohbears4lnjMemberall the credit goes to you guys– i had a very small hand in the making of the series in the very begining– but life drug me away– i deserve no credit
thanks though
dave
s4lnjMemberin this case— yes
as your friend, i’m asking you to not bother– for your own safety–
if you insist on trying something new, stop drinking rolling rock and try pbr or yuengling.
