    cheap american made frames..

    even cheaper overseas frames–

american frames cost btwn 350-400 because they cost like 150-250 depending on order, nad to be honest– less the desireable service.

tiwanese frames cost like $65, coated, stickered and boxed. and better service. and they still sell them for the same price— robery!!!!

ok– the days of the zeronine plate are over– long over– if i have to hear about it one more time i might just go and stick a rusty fork in my eye.

the plates last year and this year are better than a few years back– i look at my 2003 plate– and remember getting the basiclly blank plate with a # in a large envelope in the mail.

now we had a “ceremony” and the plates are better than a few years back, they are.

i am not saying that more in return wouldn’t be nice, it would be great. but it’s like a double edge sword– to get more in return– we need more riders (entrance fees boost money going in) but to get more riders we need more in return.

with more riders perhaps entrance fees could drop– cause you could take a little from a large group as opposed to alot from a small group.

    the question is

how do we lure riders from the nats back to the state series. you would think it would be easy with the costs of nats these days– but for some reason people love the national #s.

i don’t know– my fingers hurt. my brain is bleeding.

ha!!!! try adding up what people spend for a national plate that is worth like 10 cents.

i know — we get nothing back for all we put in– but i actually enjoy running the state series. next year will be running cruiser as well and will have a decent class… so the racing will be better

i gotta roll– work is over– i don’t have the time to type all my thaughts on this

half day pricing would be cool– hourly would be a pain in the ass, but there would be people that bitch about paying for a full day if they are going to be there for an hour–

pricing— i would say something inline with what a skate park may charge. not really sure what that is?

like i said before, i was only involved with the idea in it’s infancy– life kinda got in the way

so this is an unofficial answer

type your way on over to newjerseybmx.com, check the points page– if your name is on the page, you are invited, then check the sponsor page– if you are a sponsor, my guess is that you are invited too.

if you have something that is constructive, then talk to someone in charge about attending. otherwise, take your negativity elsewhere. the meeting is for possitive growth of the series.

the date hasn’t even been mentioned yet, don’t turn this thread into another bi+ch fest. please

    thanks
