Haaaaaaaaaaaaa, what if they were doing tricks, funny how that has become more popular, to do tricks on big wheels
RaidenHaydenMemberAlan Kulwicki, wow haven’t heard that name in a long time, awesome driver
Roy Boehm, real unconventional thinker LOLRaidenHaydenMemberThat was all I was saying, here on the east, we have to build the programs up if you wanna see that kind of money again. And the example I used was only a shop team from years ago, now that would be a factory deal LOL. Gone are the days of 60 motos at Bradddock, 45 motos at Cj, or 40 motos at HC, and with that all the money that was available.
All you that want a return to that, you really need to look at what is really going on, how this is promoted. Does your local track really go out and try to attract riders, or do they depend on the sanctions for that.
BMX needs a marketing firm for growth, sorry I hijacked the thread
RaidenHaydenMemberThe problem is you are comparing apples to oranges, factory then, and factory now have different meanings, and there wasn’t the different level of teams. Factory, shop, and team. CDR, we had a setup where if you got top three you got money, our rooms were paid for, entry fees for most were up to us. ABA grands were paid, today that would be a factory deal. We were a shop team out of PA
RaidenHaydenMemberWOW thats a turnout!!!!
RaidenHaydenMemberLike Dan said Dave was all good in Ohio, and Ant, sorry bro, everyones personal life isn’t yours to save. Funny how no other BMX site has a forum like this and , Uh Kamakazi, dude, hiding behind a lame screne name, come on. For all you do to make it better, this is just crap
RaidenHaydenMemberI read on another board, how he made it look to easy, WTF, he did it, how should he make it look? That is a huge feat, likely not to be broken soon
RaidenHaydenMemberAnd Dave to think, he did it clipped in!!!!!!!!
RaidenHaydenMemberI thought that was some kind of like old ladies gossip show or something. So instead of fun informational forum I think Brett was trying to do, it has become a slug fest, real productive for the sport
RaidenHaydenMemberHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, too funny

December 25, 2007 at 1:48 am in reply to: Biking is a healthy activity, olympics, promotion,.. #54281RaidenHaydenMemberWhile I don’t think the Oylmpics will be the end all be all to the probs of BMX, it will give exposure and change the perception of what BMX is, and hopefully more towns will WANT a track, taking away the “it’s too far” factor from the reasons as to why not
