Unfortunately Dave is right, 10 people don’t matter, which is why when certain track directors say “As long as thes couple of 9 year olds are having fun that’s all that matters” is completely wrong, why because if you don’t draw more than those riders, the county or township will say, whay are we doing this for 10 kids? It’s basically democracy, the overall count of kids playing other sports overules the 10 that race. This is why to keep your programs going you need to get the word out. This will get you the much needed volunteers, as well as protect you from local goverment wanting to shut you down as you will have more local support.
