If you mean offsetting hotel rooms etc, then everyone, of course, can ask for donations for NJBMX Inc. as they are a
non-profit charitable organization
and are allowed to take donations, grants, etc.
There is no limit to what they can take in.
Go out and ask for donations, if someone would like to make an official flyer to pass out while they are doing this, it might help out as well and make the NJBMX state organization look better as well. How can you make sure that the money gathered will be used toward the president cup……look at what happened to the grant 🙄

and who the hell FORGOT the damn NJ banner.. we looked like f**k clowns with that orange paper with nj written on it in marker.. unreal

i was told that it would possibly be in a/c this yr??
anyone know for sure?
You are kidding right?
moderator1MemberOk guys lets keep it to the subject. Start a new subject if you want to continue on.

I don’t know the details, and frankly I don’t care… are you saying we should abandon the class rule? or that a judgement call was wrong today?
Not saying it was wrong….I don’t personally have a problem with it. I am just saying that when someone goes to race open and doesn’t feel like racing class, then there should not be any problems.
Loren…I was not bashing anyone or trying to start problems, just pointing out that change can happen and it can be good. Pro opens are not run often so the racing “class” is not going to change for majority of the races.
@bmiddaugh wrote:
The class rule is an nbl rule, kudos to EHT for taking a stand against a bad rule on the nbl’s part.
Of course I’m sure no one will tell anyone who this was.
I love BMX racing drama. You are right about the rule and I am sure that the person who this was done for would not have a problem with letting people know who it was….No drama and no bitching just stating a fact.
moderator1MemberNobody says you can’t race class…..All I am saying is that if you do it for one than everyone should be able to.
moderator1Member@guinnessextreme wrote:
…..
Openness. On BOTH sides is all it takes. Why is there 2 sides…..I thought that everyone was suppose to be on the same side…..the side of improving and bettering the sport of BMX.
moderator1Member@bmxmom156 wrote:
what are the open positions they will be voting on this yr for nj state board?
State Commish & Secretary
moderator1Memberok, ok…..back on subject.
moderator1MemberUnderstand that, just showing the only rule that I could find on it.
But if you do not have to race the championship race because of injury or other valid absence to receive a state ranking, than why can’t someone who crashes in practice be giving the same lenience?
moderator1MemberFrom NJBMX:
Special Notes:
If a rider qualifies for the Championship and is unable to race it due to illness, injury or other valid absence, he or she can still earn their state ranking (last place in their class) and qualify for the President’s Cup by sending a letter to the State Clerk within 7 days of the Championship stating why they cannot race.moderator1Member@bmiddaugh wrote:
… It’s cool that they had it down at EHT so people could get a look at it.
Wonder if all the tracks got a picture to put out?
moderator1MemberIf he left before the motos then why not give him back his $20.
