I few months ago I asked the question”is there a single rule that you guys don’t think should be changed?” but I did not get an answer. Well now I have it . NONE OF YOU want to keep any of the rules. Whatever, I would think that there are battles to be fought and battles that are IRRELEVANT. This is one of them. Who cares when you can and can’t put your team sheet in. Brett first there should be no rookies or novs at nationals. Now you don’t want them to count on a state team. HHHMMM, I know lets have just one class, that way there wont be any sandbagging, and anyone can go to nationals and any one can be on a team sheet. Oh wait then the person who just started and has to race anthony derosa every week will be gone soon after that and the sport WILL die then. Then all you OLD SCHOOL guys who are never satisfied with anything that came along after 1985 can re-start a new bmx league.
MacdaddyMemberAnt, If you keep stating this proposal this way, you will always get the same response – it cant be done. I believe the state championship site must be known early if not before the season . Here is how you get by this : The track with the most new riders as of aug.31 will be awarded the state championship race for the following year. Now that is possible. It lets NJBMX advise the NBL. It also allows for the proper marketing of the race.
MacdaddyMemberHaving worked on three different size bikes over the last four years, one of the most frustrating things is that there is NO standard sizing on parts. Even from the same bike co. Zach has been on three sizes, two of which were from Staats and the third from Standard. Each has a different size seat tube. This causes you to buy brand new seat, post etc. every time you change frames.
Please we need standardized parts sizes.
MacdaddyMemberthanks, I didn’t even know that Zach was going to race until friday night. We were just going to touch the gate. He raced very hard and was disappointed that he was unable to pump the rythem section and was caught for 4th in the semi just before the finish. His mom and I could not have been more proud of the effort.

MacdaddyMemberI have to admit, it was fun. Complete chaos, but fun. There is nothing like 600 riders all crammed into an alley. Zach and I met a lot of new people and saw a lot of cool riding. thanks for the 411 dave.
