The ones I have are the 8″ ones.
LeadSled1MemberFredZ pro bars?
LeadSled1MemberThe NBL rakes in plenty of money. Do not let the not for profit fool you. It just means the books have to be clear at the end of the year, I.E. all the money has to go out the door (payroll) and there can be none left at the end of the year in the account or it shows they made a profit.
I think they have a new Windows based software app as the past two nationals have had the results up on Monday morning. I just do not think it has been distributed yet.
ABA guys are great people (Although I like busting their balls here and there 😆 ).
Clayton was running the registration at the NC national last year and I spoke to him for a bit. Nice guy. Enjoyed talking to the ABA folk at Rockford also last year.
This is their job, the way they support their families and pay the bills.
The NBL relies on volunteers at the nationals yet the ABA staffs the nationals with trained professionals. But they both cost the same to race.
The ABA has the big racing rig and the NBL has the 5th wheel trailer.
The NBL has more riders at its Grands than the ABA does.
Not faulting anyone, they just have different ways of doing things.
LeadSled1MemberHey Homer, I just got a paper grociery bag full of old race coverage videos from the mid to late 80s dropped off at my house. It would need to be captured.
LeadSled1MemberTrying to figure out how to get dirt delivered out to BFE just yet. 😆
LeadSled1MemberThe back is setup for the motorized vehicles (MX/ATV). I’ve got a nice table top back there now. Up closer to the house is going to be the BMX jumps. We are still finishing the move but I hope to have some jumps done soon after the EHT national.
LeadSled1MemberI’m curious as to what the Maryland law is. Now that I have over 10 acres. I don’t want to lose my house though. 😯
LeadSled1MemberActually it is a diamond ring with a picture of Bobby T. in the center.
LeadSled1MemberThats going to break where the chainstay meets the rear dropout.
LeadSled1MemberOne thing to look at when talking insurance is park locations. County/State parks usually have their own insurance. Thus a policy is not needed for a specific sporting event. 😉
LeadSled1MemberWell, if we never make it past the bar it could be:
BMXers United in Drinking.
BUD
😆
LeadSled1MemberI jumped straight back in as an X at a national after racing one national on cruiser.
AND I LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT!!!!! 😆
Craig, I have a 21.25 sitting in the garage. Chromoly, euro. It’s a black Supercross UL XL. But you have to sign up as X. 😉
LeadSled1MemberI have video of the 89 EHT national where I am out in front of 16X. Anyone remember the peak jump just before the second corner? Yep, I hit it and looped forwards. Perfectly upside down in mid air and came straight down on my head. Never let go of the bike or anything. The reason why? The announcer called someone elses name out for leading the race and it blew my concentration. I need to get that one transfered to digital so I can post it.
Hey Ant, does your buddy still do VHS to DVD conversions? I have a ton of tapes I want to get done.
Craig, don’t clip until you have too. I waited quite a while.
LeadSled1MemberThats funny, your statement has a double meaning if you look at it:
squirells should be gathering nuts
Does that mean Craig suffers from “empty sac” syndrome? 😆
LeadSled1MemberAdded trails and local track.
