There are still two more straights that have to be built.

Where the track used to be is now a concrete park. You have to go all the way down to the bottom of the hill where the creek is. You go over the creek and up the next hill and the track is at the top. I have an old pic I can transfer out of my cell phone from the top of the track so you can get an idea of the change.

If all you guys piss and moan about the double that was at CJ I can’t wait till you hit the doubles on da Wood. 😆 They make’m big and deep there. The first year they had two ambulances running back and forth taking people to the ER. It wasn’t so bad last year.

I’ve been two years in a row, this will be my Third. It was my first NBL race back. I picked a good one to start at. 😆 It will be my 2 year mark for returning to NBL racing in September. I got the #1 regional last year and should have it wrapped up again this year.

ABA, 3 years and you can not switch sanctions. If you stop racing the track can not host another sanctions race until the 3 years have passed.

As for what the ABA does for a track when they host a national, they give a set fee. (I think 5K for a full nat, 1500 for a Redline Cup qualifier). You also get to keep parking and concession fees.

Dave, did you get any pictures with the chicken bones?

Kilpatrick is only a few points behind John Purse.

Brett, thinking on your issue here. You should be able to put it into Excel and automate it or I can do something in MS access. If you want, shoot me a PM and I will give you my work E-mail address. That way I can get a copy in it’s native format and work on something for you.

So did Pete and Dale have a meltdown or something? They got beat by two older Novices?

Here is my view on it. Ever see the Bud Light commercials?

Dud Light Presents Real Men of Genius

    (Real Men of Genius)

Today we salute you Mr. Intermediate turned AA racer

    (Mr. Intermediate turned AA racer)

BMX is an intricate sport of skill, strategy, and athleticism, except for you. You just roll the gate.

    (Don’t fall over)

You’re not even on the same straight as the rest of the pack, who cares? You’re going for it.

    (I can jump it!)

Our question: What’s it like to be a professional BMX’er who doesn’t even need to own a helmet?

    (You’re a star)

Still, we’d rather see you in the gate than some BMX dad with a gear chart hanging from his back pocket.

    (Pedal harder)

So crack open an ice cold Dud Light Sir free-ride-to-the-main because pedaling, jumping and manualling are overated anyway.

NBL has a new site. I’m surprised they haven’t unveiled it yet. It is coming.

Funny thing is that the Florida championship race in Tampa will have a bigger turnout than any of the national races. 😆 They pull 200-300 motos sometimes.

I guess they would have rather had no track there at all than an ABA one. They also scheduled an Elite national in Cali with a 30K purse to go head to head with the ABA pro race in Atlanta. Plus an East Coast regional and a Mid-West Regional. So a national level event in the West, Central and East all on the same weekend.

Ant – point the guy out and me and Frank Klimecki will fall on him. That will DEFINITELY leave a mark.

Next time you see Frank ask him about the time in 90 at the state series when I fell in the 3rd corner at EHT and he rode over my neck with his bike. I ended up at some hospital up there with a neck brace.

Uh, yeah…. he tends to leave a mark. 😆
