Cut my foot pretty good Tuesday evening (walking barefoot in the garage) so I skipped Wednesday morning sprints and shot for Wednesday evening vert jumps. Decided to do them with 3lbs jogging dumbells. Went to do 4 X 25 but in the 4th set I had muscle failure on the 17th rep. I ended up tweaking the right knee, something directly on the backside center of the knee so I will be taking it easy tonight. Maybe a stationary light recovery ride.

I wouldn’t say “wether I need them or not”. More or less wether I want them or not. 😆

There are gangs in the military too. When stationed at Great Lakes it was a huge problem on the base. I was on quarter deck watch when about 5 gang members were beating the piss out of a guy just outside the building. When you are on watch you can not leave your post. I called the base cops but by the time they got there the guy was in bad shape. It happened all the time.

I didn’t just shut it, I slammed it on Sunday. BMXTV direct did some video so I might be able to post it up. Had the outside pedal low and as soon as I took the line I squared the corner and checked out.

I changed up the routine a little. I am now getting up at 4:30 and sprinting for an hour in the morning. I started this morning and stopped counting at 50, just to make sure I can get at least that amount in. I did it with plenty of time left over to continue.

Although we all have large land lots here the one far off neighbors dogs did not like me zooming up and down the driveway. I hope the stop barking at 4:30am, I can’t hear it with the helmet on but I don’t want to get shot with rocksalt either.

I have not been stretching at all (bad on me) so this will leave me time to do this after work each day and still spend time with the family as I can stretch in the livingroom. Plus I can do a recovery ride in the afternoon now too.

All I can say is that I am completely amazed at how this has worked for me.

I went to Athens TN this weekend for the ABA national. It looked like I wouldn’t have a class. Well moto post time on Saturday showed that guys flew in from all over the place. The track was long and fast with an uphill first straight then went downhill after the first corner. Two of the three guys who beat me just back at the Atlanta national were there. Hubert Jackson showed up, he is in the running for the National #1 am Cruiser title and seems to be unstopable. I gave him a good run on Saturday from gate 8. I got stuck outside in last into the first corner, passed everyone and was next to him on the last two straights. He got away from me on the last jump as I bobbled. Sunday he shows up on clips (he was on flats Saturday) and I was on him in the main but had some battling to get past guys in order to get near him. 2nd both days and I am super happy about it. The two guys that beat me in Atlanta? I smoked them. I had track speed that I could use to just blow by guys without having to worry about it and then be able to pull Jackson to get next to him was awesome.

This puts me right up in the middle of the NAG race with only 6 races. 4-4-2-2-2-2.

    THANKS GREG!!!!!

How big (weight wise) is the person riding them? They aren’t very strong, but great for the little ones due to low cost and weight. How old are they also?

    1. A series of 12 nationals consisting of 3 in each quarter of the country with a final held in a central location.

Dude, that is so weak sauce.

With the 27 nationals that gives you 54 national races:

      1. September 24-25 ¦ Supercross National ¦ Camp Woodward ¦ Woodward,PA ¦ Big A
      2. October 8-9 ¦ Midwest National ¦ Fort Wayne BMX ¦ Ft. Wayne,IN ¦ Big A
      3. October 22-23 ¦ Fall Classic ¦ Sandy Ridge BMX ¦ McDonough,GA ¦ Big A
      4. November 5-6 ¦ Lake Mead National ¦ Boulder City BMX ¦ Boulder City,NV ¦ Big A
      5. November 26-27 ¦ Thanksgiving National ¦ Smoky Mtn. Expo Center ¦ Morristown,TN ¦ Big A
      6. December 28-29 ¦ Christmas Classic ¦ Columbus Convetion Center ¦ Columbus,OH ¦ Elite
      7. January 14-15 ¦ Blue Ridge Mountain National ¦ Blue Ridge Indoor ¦ Lexington,VA ¦ Big A
      8. January 28-29 ¦ RM59 Tropical National ¦ Barceloneta BMX ¦ Puerto Rico ¦ Elite
      9. February 4-5 ¦ Rocky Mountain National ¦ Colorado Indoor BMX ¦ Loveland,CO ¦ Big A
      10. February 18-19 ¦ Southern Charm National ¦ Wiregrass BMX ¦ Dothan,AL ¦ Big A
      11. February 25-26 ¦ Boulder Dam National ¦ Boulder City BMX ¦ Boulder City,NV ¦ Elite
      12. March 4-5 ¦ Spring National ¦ Smoky Mtn. Expo Center ¦ Morristown,TN ¦ Big A
      13. March 11-12 ¦ West Coast National ¦ Madtown BMX ¦ Madera,CA ¦ Big A
      14. March 25-26 ¦ Silver State National ¦ Nellis BMX ¦ Las Vegas,NV ¦ Elite/UCI 3/25
      15. April 8-9 ¦ Gator National ¦ Jacksonville BMX ¦ Jacksonville,FL ¦ Big A
      16. April 15-16 ¦ Easter Classic ¦ Okeeheelee BMX ¦ West Palm Beach,FL ¦ Elite/UCI on 4/15
      17. April 29-30 ¦ East Coast National ¦ EHT BMX ¦ Egg Harbor Township,NJ ¦ Big A
      18. May 6-7 ¦ Dixieland National ¦ Dixieland BMX ¦ Nashville,TN ¦ Big A
      19. May 20-21 ¦ Golden State National ¦ Manzanita Park BMX ¦ Prunedale,CA ¦ Elite/
      20. May 27-28 ¦ Tarheel National ¦ Tanglewood BMX ¦ Clemmons,NC ¦ Big A
      21. June 10-11 ¦ Hoosier National ¦ Burdette Park BMX ¦ Evansville,IN ¦ Elite
      22. June 24-25 ¦ Heartland National ¦ Akron Derby Downs BMX ¦ Akron,OH ¦ Big A
      23. July 1-2 ¦ Stars N Stripes National ¦ South Park BMX ¦ Pittsburgh,PA ¦ Elite/
      24. July 8-9 ¦ Freedom National ¦ NOVA BMX ¦ Woodbridge,VA ¦ Big A
      25. August 5-6 ¦ Speedway National ¦ East Moline Speedway BMX ¦ East Moline,IL ¦ Big A
      26. August 12-13 ¦ Constitution Classic ¦ T.R.A.C.K. ¦ Trumbull,CT ¦ Big A
      27. August 19-20 ¦ Great Lakes National ¦ Waterford Oaks BMX ¦ Pontiac,MI ¦ Big A Final

Then when you look at regionals there are 5 regionals plus the championship for the 4 areas for 6 X 2 X 4 = 48 national races.

Throw on the US Open and you get:

    54 + 48 + 1 = 103 national qualifiers per year.
