Whats wrong with you guys?
Andy Currie!
Trying to remember where these guys were from:
Phill Downell
Jason Wetherhold
George Salzmann
Robbie Morales
Rayner Mathews
Ronnie Gaska
Mark SteriousDidn’t Dave Taylor also turn up in 89?
LeadSled1MemberI just heard that for this new season you have to run a N on novice regional plates.
That means Craig will be
N1W
😆
LeadSled1MemberWell, I have been sticking with it and getting faster each time I ride. I did fall short of my goal though. First moto of the Grands went great (1st) and then I had problems from there out on the first jump. (4th, 4th, then 5th in semi)
I am going to take it up another notch. I have been also racing with the 17 and 18 Xs locally and they push me a lot harder. I have more fun racing them. You will be surprised at what you can do when you have to do it. 😆
LeadSled1MemberThe classes still do not match. I had hoped they would rearrange the 30-34 X class as it is too small but no luck. They should have made it 25-34 as 25-29 will be tiny also. I think they did that so that the two would combine at nationals but keep the points seperate so not too many people in 30-34 complain.
Looks like they took away the 30+ opens also. 👿
LeadSled1MemberHey, if I was sandbagging in Novice I would have had time to too. Wink
(You didn’t think I was going to let up did you?) Cheese
Hey Craig, Vickers said he is getting back on the bike to show you how to race in the X class. Argh!
LeadSled1MemberIf I was only racing locals, then its a whole different story. Believe me, when I came back this year, I had no expectations of doing well at all.
Looking at your history on the NBL site you have 23 races in. So at least 15 of them were locals.
Never set your skill level by what you can do now at the national level. It should be set by what you could do at the nationals and can do at the locals.
LeadSled1MemberLOL, Bill “Kegerator” Hayden.
Hey Craig, when they change the class to 30+ your goose is cooked. 😈!
LeadSled1MemberFor crying out loud, give me some freaking props here.
LeadSled1MemberI might see you for the winter nationals out there. I have a bunch of guys I worked with that live in Scottsdale. Good luck with the move and I hope to meet up with you guys again.

September 8, 2006 at 7:11 pm in reply to: NBL’s new program for 07 #34437LeadSled1MemberMake sure you tell everyone it is ok to pull your brakes at the finish line so you don’t get that move up point.
Thus the reason for bike inspection. Not because little Bobby or Mary may have a loose wheel, but they damn better be able to check up at the line! 😆
LeadSled1MemberHey Craig, if you go to Woodward and race Novice this is exactly where those points and the skills you could have picked up there are going:
Woodward was my first NBL race back. You need to hit the races immediately after the Grands as hard as you can. Trust me, if not you will be wishing you did come next April.
LeadSled1MemberLMAO. If I didn’t like you I wouldn’t give you a hard time.
See, I still remember Crazy Craig Wilson. This Novice Craig Wilson is new to me and I like Crazy Craig a lot more.
Crazy Craig flew by the seat of his pants. Novice Craig sits on his.!
September 8, 2006 at 2:46 pm in reply to: NBL’s new program for 07 #34424LeadSled1MemberWELCOME TO THE NBL BRING-A-BAGGER PROGRAM
Start Recruiting now – First prize draw is July 15
(for all cards turned in from June)Hey Sandbaggers, welcome to the Bring-A-Bagger webpage. It’s easy and rewarding. You’ll get your Sandbagger cards inside the June and July issues of Sandbagger Today Magazine and there’s more at your local track. We want you to help us promote BMX to your friends (Baggers) and we are serving up some great prizes to keep our sandbaggers and buddies excited about the program.
Start handing them out today and when your ‘baggers’ redeem them at any NBL Track, you’ll both get a limited edition NBL “I’m a Bagger!â€ÂÂ￾ Sticker Sheet and your names then go into a huge prize draw. Look to the right for some of the cool prizes and below for the prizing chart. Sandbagger prize for the month of June is a sand shovel from Home Depot and Sandbagger Plus! subscriptions for the random prizes.
It’s easy – Write your name (if you are the sandbagger) and NBL serial # on the back of the card, detach, and pass out the cards to your sandbagging buddies and encourage them to try NBL BMX racing. When a ‘bagger’ redeems the card at any NBL Track, you and your sandbagging buddy both get a ‘Limited Edition’ NBL “I’m a Bagger!â€ÂÂ￾ Sticker sheet and your buddy also gets a copy of Sandbagging Today Magazine. Then, both of your names go into a huge prize drawing that includes products from Humper Bicycles, Camp Woodie, Vinegar Helmet, and more. For more information on the program, ask your local NBL Track and start sandbagging now. Click here to find an NBL track near you
Prizes – For the Recruiters
Hint: The more sandbagging buddies you recruit, the more chances you have to win great prizes.LeadSled1MemberHey Craig, next time put a sandbag on each bar end and not just one. It will keep you from tipping to one side in the rthym section. 😆
LeadSled1MemberNot until after next year (November 2007). 😆
Hey, Rich still looks the same. You just have to add on the stash.
