I have noticed that my beer consumption has increased. 😆

I think the frustrating thing is that I know I am going to have to cut back next year. Probably locals and states except for the nats I can drive back and forth to home (Milford, EHT and Pottstown) unless I get one hell of a raise this year. Although I am sitting in the top 10 nag, as of today I am not even looking forward to the Grands (frustration kicking in). I think you are right, a week or two off is needed. I guess without the valleys how can you have the peaks? Thanks Dave.

The only time I have seen the scythes fail is when the rider comes down from a jump or a manual with the wheel sideways. When this happens the legs shear. But if you are coming down with your wheel sideways you have other issues. 😆

My license expires today. With no NBL in my area and no NBL Grands next year I didn’t want to renew it.

Yeah, my little black cloud was following me around. Thats 3 in a row, Worlds, NBL Grands and then this past weekend. Hopefully it is rained out.

I have the 661 bomber shorts but they do not fit under my current pants. They have the thin foam hip protectors. If we are updating uniforms I will know before too long after the ABA Grands so I will wait until then to get a pair of pants they can fit under. I don’t want to buy a new set and then have us change colors like last year.

    My Delaware tattoo:

Thats right on the end of the hip bone. I’ve been having a tough time with this one, I might have to go to the doc and see what up.

Craig, there is always 30+ open.

Reasons for braille on the drive up ATM:

#5 Too drunk to see the numbers.

#4 For the guys in the lowriders who can’t see the buttons way up there.

#3 When your bank robbers mask interferes with your vision.

#2 When you have “other things” going on in the drive through.

#1 When granny in the 2 ton Grand Marquis battle wagon needs to get her retirement check money before driving through the store front at Macys.

Thanks Macdaddy! Some pics were taken of the racing so I hope to see some online soon.

Bill, they didn’t announce that the ram was changed. I was out doing stuff around the track and there is no practice on Sundays. 😥

I have decided to revive my high school hair to help with my training though. 😆

I can’t grow enough grass on the green. 😆

Whats the mullet? Business in front and party in the back? Mine would be more like “A Rogain comercial followed by an intergalactic kegger”.

I found out that they switched the air ram on Sunday which ran slower. 😥

Brazil World Events – 2001 – Great event with an awesome track and a giant crowd. 2006 – Worst Worlds since I started in the UCI, nothing worked. We learned a lesson though….

    I firmly agree with that.

    The J-Rich potshot sucks.

I kept hearing all the Women saying Caveman was “Teh Hotness”. He has a huge following down here in DE.!

Too much sand in my shorts. It’s funny, I just got a call from Bill as SX just after that last post. I feel a little better now. I have to turn things around at the Grands and try to salvage something.

My first goal was to win a national. I didn’t do it last year. Tried again this year. Here are my national finishes in order up until this past weekend:

    3
    4
    2
    2
    4
    3
    DNQ (Christmas Classic)
    6
    4
    3
    5
    5
    4
    4
    2
    2
    2
    2
    DNQ (Worlds)
    2
    2
    DNQ (Grands)
    8
    DNQ (Blue Diamond ABA)

As you can see, no #1s on the list.
    First goal failed.

Next goal was to make a decent showing at the Worlds. Didn’t make it out of the motos as I was put in the dirt 2 out of 3 motos.
    Second goal failed.

Next goal was to finish top 10 in the NBL. I went into the Grands in 8th. Came out 12th.
    Third goal failed.

Last goal is to finish top 10 in the ABA. After this last weekends horrible showing (8th and DNQ)I dropped from 8th to 9th. I’ll have to do well at the Grands to stay in the top 10.

I might wrap it up after this season. I’m not too sure what I feel like doing. That may also be the pain talking from my oozing hip sticking to my work pants too. I feel like I have hit the plateu, nothing more to be gained speed wise.

There wasn’t much to my racing this weekend. In the main on Saturday I passed 4 people to 3rd place in the first corner. I had the outside gate and was stuck out on the first straight. On the double out I manualled and caught a strong wind in the back. The front end never came down as the wind kept blowing. I hit the second lip of the double with the rear tire and got launched out into the flat on my ass.

Sunday, round one I took an easy lap since there was no practice and I didn’t know how well I could ride after Saturdays fall. Round two I flipped the gate and that ended my weekend. O-Gorman, one of the Kovachi guys and Cheyenne also flipped the gate. Kelty hit it as did Stumphauser. It seemed a little slow on Sunday compared to Saturday.

Gates for the weekend were 8-4-7 and 8-4-6. Not very good ones to have.
