How does Florida do it? Their states series is harder than the national level with more people. Some people don’t even bother going to nationals because they see the state series as a bigger accomplishment
The biggest draw or drawback for me and the NBL, is the fact that it is about consistent results. You need to score well all your motos and races to win. It isn’t about getting 1 good lap in to win. The ABA Redline cup is a nice series but sometimes the winner just got lucky wish takes away from those that really earned it.
And I use the word drawback for the fact that I take full advantage of the ABA qualifying system, and I am too far out of shape to race 3 motos.
kevhMemberIt should help a little.
It just shows how well connected bmx is nationally. A couple of posts on a couple BMX sites, and you get instant response.
kevhMemberMy 4 year old son has beaten 7 year olds, anything is possible in BMX. And the class is officially 5 and under so it is only 2 years. He rarely gets a true 5 and under class to begin with so 7 and under would be normal for him.
kevhMemberEvening is probably prime time at the skatepark, and racers are used to being at a track sunday morning.

Make sure the full mailing adress is on there. i hate it when i go to a traks website and they don’t have the zip code or the exact adress, because you need that information for things like mapquest.
The link on the website to mapquest should fill it in automatically for you, easy to do.
kevhMemberEasy to access and see schedule both online and printable.
Good Directions with Landmarks not just street names. Nothing like rolling up on the street in the left lane and realizing you need to make the right turn. Or worse yet sine this is a Jersey track, being in the left lane and realizing you should be in the far right lane to make the left turn. (Sorry couldn’t resist)
Phone number and email address for easy contact.
Rookie section with Tech tips (size charts, gearing, etc) and a what to expect your first time stuff. Make it easy for new people to come and check it out.
Pictures and maybe video so people have an idea of what they they will be racing on.
rss feed to brokenspokes.net LOL
Local hotel or food sponsors/recommendations for those traveling in for big races.
Race Results are nice but can be a pain depending on scoring system.
That should be a good start.
