I think Peer Nomination is the way to go….. I would recommend that you have the track directors or someone at each track that is willing to take names each week…. Ballots at sign up would work too…. If it has to be a male / female each month, I’m down with that….it’s about the BMXers anyways… Just trying to give back to a sport I grew up with….and get some notice to those who make it a little better… 8) I set up an email account via yahoo to do one up my way……until I can figure out a better method…

Man, I thought we had 18 and then they found out that Ed Carrington was an Expert….so we went 6, 6 and 5 with 4 from each to 6 man gate semi….
Ouch! Man, I guess I didn’t get to see that because by then I was staring at the gate…from my bike..
For General info….. Chris gave me the thumbs up to produce the Jack Frost Plates for those of you who wanted them……so, if you are interested PM me…..
Practice was really windy today….made it hard for us out of towners to get a good feel for the track……but it is still going to be loads of fun on Saturday, Sunday weather looks very harsh……..track seems to be pretty well prep’d given the weather for the past couple of weeks………
Man, the logo stands as is…not my design to play with…..one of New Jersey’s own did that one……..only the colors have changed…..

It’s not just limited to the NBL….. Both sanctions give out lame awards for series that we all throw hard earned cash and effort to get there and race…. ABA State series are a rip off……they give you a bunch of pre-printed plates…..and some softgoods…… I don’t even bother
All I can say is, I am glad that NJ is willing to put out the extra effort to do custom plates for the state series…….now a days I think all the series plates should be custom….. Us riders fork out some serious scratch to race these series (National/State) we should get custom awards that make them worth the effort…… I’m really get tired of getting stamped out plates from the NBL/ABA for my year end awards….. That is another reason I started making plates….
Stu from HRP is good people…..him and I got a chance to meet last year at Rockford…..we have respect for each other, so it’s all good….
Thanks for the thought about the plates…..it’s been real making them the last couple of years for NJ Riders… If Rich wants a bid, I’d be glad to give him one…… HRP makes a good custom plate…..we just use different styles/materials….
I would help out but Illness and Lack of a new frame will keep me home…..I am trying to get these promo plates to Chris the TO to give out…….Pro/Exp/Mini…..I hope everyone has a blast….

No, these plates won’t be going to the masses this year, maybe for 2008…… This one was just a promo plate I made up, I wouldn’t really have time this year to make up enough plates for them to give out to each finalist, so I am hoping to work with the NJ tracks next year with event plates ….. If I get to come down and race this year I will bring one or two that the track operator can figure out how they want to distribute…..
