when you see this place, it looks like its built at 1/2 scale. no big air there
would be fun to do some old school stylin there.
It’s a nice place for young kids to learn how to skate on rampsdunrite9MemberCraig
By the Hickory Tree Mall, on Southern Blvd across from Fairmount golf coarse.
dunrite9MemberROOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dunrite9MemberSounds like fun!
CJBMX-drink a six pack of beer then jump the monster double, land the jump you drink another can of beer and go again, last man standing wins.
dunrite9Member21 bids, $2,250.00
Rich, how many people are watching this auction?
dunrite9MemberCraig
Last time I was there,8 years ago, dirt bikes and time have ruined it. A lot of roots and rocks.
Their were no lips on any of the jumps out. But still worth the trip back to see what’s left.
the Madison trails still looked good back then, jumps were added, I will hit these
when the 24 is done.Craig
Have you seen the outdoor skate park in Chatham, by the police station, might be just for boards & inline,dunrite9MemberI had a pair of Hutch cranks
I can still hear the clicking when they start to loosen.
😥 If only I could’ve predicted “OLD SCHOOL” & “EBAY” 18 years ago!! 😥$850.00

I guess the real question is becoming…Are guys like us ready to start making our voices heard?
OK Brett
How do we get our voices heard? And will they listen to what we have to say?
I have a some ideas, but I will keep them to myself right now.dunrite9MemberI’m with Brett & Craig
A temporary Rookie license is a good idea, good for 5 beginners races. good for three months.
Run the five races than you move up to Novice, Get your first novice race free & the full license at a discount.
Maybe one more race if they attend a beginners class, I always enjoyed
giving the class at Braddock. Maybe a beginners day at the track, not on a race day. have some
bikes there for kids to ride. Give incentives to current & beginner riders when they
get a new rider to sign up. This may be done already I’ve been away for awhile.
Yon have to get the new kids there, and then you have keep them coming back.No National # for beginners.
Rookie points at the local level could be an idea, a new rider that signs up for the first time
that rider can run for that tracks Rookie of the Year honor. All the points that
rider gets at that track, in beginner, novice & expert go towards the ROY points
Give a new rider something to aim for. Have the ROY trophy on display at the track at each race, It was
a big deal to me when I got my first trophy.dunrite9MemberCraig
When’s your next race? I’m looking to run my first race in June or July at HCBMX.
My mind is 100% but my body is at 20%, I’m not ready for a fall. My body needs
to be 100%. I’m on my way, changed my diet, lost 6lbs. last week.
Tuned the MTB, stiffened it up as much as possible, I’ll leave it in one gear
and go. I’ll work on hitting some jumps when I’m about 80%, I’m even thinking about
building a small practice track in my backyard.I want to race again, win or lose, I just want to have fun.
But I have more to lose if I get hurt and can’t work.dunrite9MemberKenny
Sorry, I don’t have a clue who else is in that pic. nice shots a Braddock.
Is that Gibby chasing you. I last saw Gibby at his Fathers wake about 8 years ago. I’ll try to get in touch with him.dunrite9MemberCraig
I whent with you to Scavones, I remember you, using a tire tube to strap a new frame to your back.dunrite9MemberIs Braddock still there? Last time I whent by there it was still fenced in but all over grown. 8 or 9 years ago.
dunrite9MemberRemember “SALAMI”
