Rich – like I said previously – if the date is right – I will volunteer to help in anyway possible but also would like to get in on the clinic too.
I do not think there will be any problem getting 24 riders.
CrazyCraigMemberPat – like BMX Girl Mom said – the Florida Championship is a huge event – you will definitely see some action.
CrazyCraigMemberCaveman – fire up the digital cam – it’s gonna be an old school weekend!
CrazyCraigMember…I remember that – as a team we were real good at saving stuff so like Pat said we usually had something in the toolbox or hanging around to help someone out. I usually travelled with extra rims too. We were like a Nascar pit crew trying to replace an engine before the next lap went by – it was fun.
Chip-n-Dale does an excellent job supporting the races. I have already made at least one mortgage payment for Andy with the amount of stuff I have gotten from him at the races. 😀
This weekend I will load up everything I got just in case. See me if needed. Look for the little blue Mazda pickup with the black aluminum cap on the back.
Ahhh…miss having JV Bikes by the track (Braddock). Jim supported us well.
CrazyCraigMemberWelcome back Pete!
Ya gonna jump in 35 Nov with the rest of us crazies? Its that or 35X or 17+ Rookie – take yer pick!

just watch out for the Blaring Oingo Boingo Music!!!
Gotta find that tape! Or hit up a Tower Records to see if they got it!
CrazyCraigMemberSweet Old School ride from the late 80’s. Any of my old parts on there?

What did you do, sell him some training wheels? 😉 The 20 was very odd the first time I raced it. It takes a while to get the feel back, but when you do it makes the cruiser feel like a luxury yacht.
My 5yr old son offered his old training wheels to me. Sweet kid. I could have used them.
Yer right Jess. Everytime I got on the gate with the 20 it felt like there was no bike under me until I got on the pedals. But – I had my best day on cruiser so far. What’s funny is I live in North Jersey and have ridden EHT 4 times already compared to 1 time each on HC & CJ. But – I’ll make up for that this weekend – gonna try and race all three days at the CJ Regional.
See ya there!
CrazyCraigMemberUpdate on this old thread:
I made the return on 20 inch. ANYONE who saw me race Saturday May 13th at EHT will testify that I am not ready for expert yet. Me and Frank Klimecki were bouncing off each other a little too much. 😀
The original bike plan did not work out – the Redline Comp got returned to the seller – it was a piece of junk.
I have to thank Rich Farside for his help with the f&f. (no, it’s not the Hyper). I was able to compile all my parts and build on it Wednesday May 10th and rode it the very first time Saturday at the race. This would probably explain why we only had 7 riders in 35 Novice – I don’t think anyone wanted to be next to me once they heard it was my FIRST RACE on a 20 since the Wright Bros. took flight. 😆 Just ask Jim Rempkowski who had the privilege of being next to me in lane 7 for the main. He saw my “stupid” first turn that inevitably became a wipe out. (thank God for body armor on a paved turn).
So… Be afraid… Very Afraid. I am back on a 20 inch bike. 😯
CrazyCraigMemberNow we know why you don’t have any $$$$ to race!!! 😆
CrazyCraigMemberYes, pre-race on Friday.
14+ practice is 2-3 and 4-5. Registration till 5:30.
CrazyCraigMemberCaveman – you did some good fill-in announcing Saturday. And ya totally bagged on me when I shut it down. 😆
But – how’d ya like the air I was grabbin’ down the second straight on cruiser?? Gotta start somewhere, right? 😉
CrazyCraigMemberThese results were for Saturday at EHT.
But, to add to my previous post – I’m not saying I had 2-2-2 in the bag for Novice – me and Frank Klimecki were going at it pretty good all day – could have gone either way. The four of us in our moto had a blast!!
Frank and I seemed to have a magnetic pull in both cruiser and nov – couldn’t get off each other all day – we each had a wipe out off the other’s back wheel.
CrazyCraigMember2-2-2 In 35-39 Cruiser Motos – no main.
2-4-4 In 35+ Novice – 7th in the main – wipe out in the first turn.
No disrespect to the others in my novice moto – but I did shut it down the second & third motos so I would have enough gas in the tank for my third cruiser moto and the Novice Main. Almost did a flipper middaugh in the main and went stupid in the first turn. 😯
CrazyCraigMemberMy wife is graduating from Montclair State Univerisity with her Masters Degree on Sunday (I am VERY proud of her). That + Mother’s Day (we have two kids) = No Warnicke race for me this weekend.
