Heck, imagine if they broke the experts & novs up same as the opens: 16-29 and 30 & over!
Seriously now, Dave, Pinky is right. Progression. Yes, back then, I did well in 17 and over, even when I was 22, but everything must progress. I just don’t understand why they changed it last year and now are changing again. You can’t keep changing every year.

This is where we need to get back to our roots. The old days of piling a bunch of folks into a hotel room to save $$$$.
Not sure if I am going yet, but hopefully for at least the Prez Cup, so I might be down with doing this for 1-2 nights.

With all due respect to Phil, Villa almost got him at the line. So there were two fast dudes in that main, and both from MCS. No doubt they push each other.

Okay Deb, have some coffee first, take a deep breath, etc.
I am personally trying to have an open conversation with all involved in yesterdays after-race “events”. Can I ask that all comments stay off the board here for now. I have spoken with three people so far, and have about 5-6 more to speak to. My goal is to bring some clarity to the events and hopefully get all the parties to discuss this as adults. Based on what I know now, my focus will be on moving forward in a way that is good for everyone, not worrying as much about past events, etc. Can’t change them, so we have to move forward.
I know Ant, your curious as all get out now. PM someone if you want some info, but lets please keep this off the board for now, please.

The last two weeks I raced the double headers at Flemington, and I have to say we had a lot of fun. A bunch of people are coming out to get there locals in for the state (yes Dave, one of your issues I bet) so we had a decent 30+ turn out and we had fun.
Oh, and Dean Cammaratta got a sponsor for the 30+ class:

So Dave, yes, we can still have fun racing.
The only thing that dissapoints me is you and I have yet to be on a gate together, so you have to race some more, lol.

I have known Dave for a long time, and even with all the team trash talkin, this is not what he is about. IMO, Dave put the team together to have fun, not to get first place. I don’t think any of us (well, maybe Point Pleasant, lol) put their teams together to win the state series. Heck, my team just came together almost on its own.
That said, Dave has had an up & down year, and we will all have those moments when we hit a wall (or in my case, a RV, lol). Its when you hit that wall you decide how bad you want something.
If Dave decides to pull back for awhile, then I hope someone else picks up the reigns of PBR and keeps it going.

I am not saying another track can’t happen, but just wanted you to know who the other players are so we can all work together.
Clint has been keeping me in the loop on this, there is forward progress. Nothing 100% yet, but very positive.
