Dave – I will gladly spend $20 at the next round to go and chase some kids so I can get better. Heck, I need the practice so I can hang with Farside. For pete’s sake – he was pulling everyone except Phil!

My team, GHP Atomlab Northeast, is very happy to be a sponsor of the series and helping contribute to Phill Delizia’s retirement account. 😛

Thankyou to Hyper as the main series sponsor & to Rich Farside and everyone else who got this off the ground!!!

Its a great bunch, too bad I missed it, but I am looking forward to being a part of it (finally!) on May 19th and 20th.

I am very proud of everyone on the team, way to go!!!

Ya gotta picture this Ant. I was going to the Marriot on Lexington which is diagonally across the street from the Waldorf Astoria. A lot of high end business types in this area, Chase & CITI (amongst others) have some of their offices near by, you get the picture.

…and then I come rolling through all of this on my DB (looking sharp in my GHP shirt, lol). I definitely stood out in the crowd that day.

It would have been cool if you were there, and everyone else for that matter. Maybe, just maybe, we all need to plan a day, hit the ferry, and we all take a ride in there, find a good place to chow down, etc. It could be fun. Maybe hit Central Park, try to ride on Wall Street (aint gonna happen!), etc.

Word got back to me today that GHP Atomlab Northeast turned in a perfect 600 score and won the team trophy for round one. I wish I could have been there.

Congratulations to all the racers and parents on the team, I heard we had one heckuva cheering section!

What was I doing today? I hooked the kiddie trailer up to the back of my 20″ and towed BOTH my kids (with trailer its over 100 pounds). I pulled them up a couple of serious hills so my thighs will be screaming tomorrow – but I needed this. I haven’t been able to ride for almost three weeks (severely pulled calf muscle) so it was good to get out there. The leg was not perfect, but it was my second ride in two days in a row, needed to get back on and get going again.

For a lot of reasons I could not be there today, but tried to make the best of it. I’ll see y’all on the 19th and 20th in Pottstown!

As for Patmos….I’d rather have my kids being kids then send them down to get brainwashed while they ride their bike…

One way or the other everyone is brainwashed depending on where you spend your time.

I used to work in auto parts a long time ago. After awhile I was brainwashed. I found myself cursing up a storm just like the guys I worked with. Notice I don’t curse much these days? (I’m not saying I am a saint, just making a point)

Don’t take what I am saying the wrong way. If something is not someone’s cup of tea, so be it, I’m cool with that.

Think about it. Everyone here is brainwashed on BMX. If someone says something derogatory or false about what we do we are all over them, aren’t we?

Yup – the Mrs dont like me racin on her day, and with her dad not doing to well, racing would be a very unpopular choice that day.

There is also a regional in Meriden, CT that weekend. I was hoping to go there, but have t-ball on Saturday and like I said, mother’s day is out.

Have John reach out to the tracks and see who wants them, and then tell him to reach out to me.

Chris Vliet races 30-34x and Dave Pawlowski will be there soon.

As for me – I kick up to 40-44 cruiser in August. But need to get my poop together for 35x right now!

GHP Atomlab Northeast and also Starwin Mortgage Services are very excited to be a part of what should be an amazing series.

I cannot be there this week, for numerous reasons, one of them that I am hurt (again!) but wish all the racers good luck! I’ll see you the 19th and 20th at Pottstown!!
