Hah! Wood Gnomes. I think you’re onto something.
Dude, a tabletop would take three times the dirt as a set of doubles. Why fill in a set of doubles when you could use that dirt to make another set?

Dave, when you ride tight ass tight trails, you’re riding with the front wheel. But I gotta make some big jumps if I wanna whip it like Bubba. How big are these jumps at Egg Harbor I’m hearing about? Mmmmm, droooool. I gotta boost something.

I just realized the thread on my helmet visor screws are the same as a camera tripod mount. Can you say helmet cam? It’s on!

Thanks, The jumps on that first straight starts out tiny like 6″ high and 2′ long and get bigger to like 2′ high and 6′ long and they’re tight as heck. When I first built it, it was retarded tight and I just couldn’t get through it. Had to tame it down. The second straight starts out around 4′ high and 12′ long and gets smaller. Not very big stuff. I hope to add some burly stuff this spring. I know you can’t wait for that, Pawlowski.

Sullivan. Which turn shall it be Sullivan? Which turn?

Well I for one don’t believe it. We all know the worst thing to happen to NJ BMX in ten years is Tom Ballard.

Bill, I am so jonesing to get on the road bike. I want to put some serious miles on it this year. What happened to the mild winter we were having?

Well, if I’ve inspired people to post Simon and Garfunkel lyrics and quotes from cartoons about trucks that transform into robots I guess my work here is done. After all, isn’t that what BMX is all about?

What’s with all the exclamation points, Ant dog? Are you a big fan of BMX Plus! too? Is your real name John Kerr? Were you afraid of Skuzzer Switchblade? Were you hot for Bonnie Brainstorm or whatever her name was? (Yeah, I’m not proud of it but I used to read it. That’s cause if you were ape-shizz for BMX you read every magazine you could get your hands on from cover to cover)

I just found it interesting and perhaps part of a bigger picture. Perhaps these people are betting that the Olympics will usher in BMX’s third wave and there will be some money to be made in the next few years on it. I mean, after all these years, why bring back Radical Rick now and make a movie out of it? Nobody cared about it back then. Why make a movie out of it now?

Anybody else think that’s why they’re making a movie out of it? Anybody else think BMX will see a third wave? 83, 98, 08?

I don’t know how this thread got on collectors but I think that stuff is stupid too.

And much like I prefer the ABA to the NBL, bitd I preferred BMX Action to BMX Plus! and Radical Retard was one of the reasons. That cartoon was so gay, I hated it. BMX Action was ten times the magazine that Plus! was. You can’t take a magazine that seriously if every blurb on the cover ended in an exclamation point! …. BMX Plus! Cruiser shootout! Sickest new freestyle trick! Reader Survey! Subscription deal! Table of contents! Advertisers index! and much, much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But is anybody seeing what I’m seeing? They’re resurrecting this OLD cartoon to make a movie, and have a promotional tour this summer? Is it me or are they hoping to cash in on the Olympic frenzy? Is 2007 going to be the beginning of BMX’s third wave?

Depends what you mean. Is it addictive? Yes. Is it bad? No.

Just get the dirt and equipment. Is it that hard?

Hard? It’s impossible. That would mean spending actual money. And perhaps even worse, making a decision.
