I remember one day at Flemington at the fall classic hanging with you in between motos. We were talking and all of a sudden you said nonchalantly, “Did they just call the 50/50?” I said yeah I think so. “What was that number again?”, you said, not expecting much. I said the number. Then you said, “Holy @#!#$! I just won 200 bucks!!!”
I don’t know why, that memory just sticks in my head. That was so funny. Some day I’ll have luck like that. Some day.

I think we were all in that moto where he passed Salzman. Me, McMurray, Lynch. And Dan was in the moto where Tom got hit by a twister. (Yes people, a twister touched down at Flemington and ripped Tom McMurray out of the air over the doubles on the 2nd straight!)

The Cavegirl team. Yeah, there’s a good idea. Me managing a team of underage girls. The guys from Dateline NBC would have a field day. 😆 You better believe I was busting.
But seriously, once again we’ve all gotten sucked into another hypothetic idea and started pontificating about it for no reason (Including me and now I feel like a dope). Janeen is right.
Can we change the team rules? Yes. Should we? Well, that depends on if there is someone out there that wants to run an all girls team.
If somebody actually wants to do it let them press for a rule change. If not, we’re wasting our time pontificating about nothing.

I would have noticed the hairs on his back if it weren’t for the 7.2 earthquake set off by his snoring. It was so bad, the entire motel had moved five feet to the left by the next morning.

I think if anyone started a team they would have enough common sense to pick ladies that aren’t going to race each other.
Around 1990 I believe it was Colour Control that fielded an all girls team with Dianna Bowling, Cindy Davis and others. (Right now all of the NiBbLers are saying, “Who are those people and what’s Colour Control?”) It rocked.If somebody wants to do it, they should push for a rule change and do it. Problem solved.

Exactly. That’s why the day before the race is too late to change the rules. By the way, I’m not anti-clip. I’m for them. I’m just running flats tomorrow so I can race both classes.

If a few people want to make the 16 & over flats only it would be cool if EVERYBODY rode flats. But the 16 & over was not advertised as flats only and I think its a bit late to make changes now. The race is tomorrow.
However I will do it on flats. That way I can race 16 & over and 25 & over. (I ain’t switching shoes for each moto)
On the other hand, we could try to get everyone to run flats and just instruct the crowd to boo anyone that races with clips.
Oh yeah, and I’m gonna smoke Sullivan. And Danny. And anybody else. On flats. With no sleep. All while throwing some slayers over the last doubles!
I forgot the 16″ race. That means I could race five classes and possibly get a quintuple for the day. Yeah, that could happen. 😈 😈 😈
Is the 25 & over old school class a money class? I can’t decide whether to bring flats and race the old school or bring clips and race the 16 & over open. I’m so confused.
I guess technically I could race class, cruiser, 16 & over $, and 25 & over squirrel. That sounds like a good idea.
All I really wanna do is hit the double on the 4th straight and whip it like Bubba Stewart. 😈
