12-15with prizes for each.. remember there will be more riders being its no proficiency.. novs with experts mixing it up…so maybe the younger ones wouldnt be as intimidated ( ie 10x racing 12 nov)

i would also like to know if hc is having thier elections this sat… as there were still some questions as to how the voting takes place since the bylaws ( were not sure if they were the current ones or not) didnt state the “who was actually allowed to vote” rules… as someone previously stated they did.
if that be the case then i feel in the best interest of fairness the voting should be postponed untill the voting procedure can be documented somehow.?? i dont see how you can vote unless someone can come up with how it is supposed to be done. if only board members can vote or is it open to the entire membership? it should say so somewhere…
i dont know how eht does theirs i do know cj lets everyone vote but maybe the board members can see about trying to resolve this before voting ? just a thought.

great idea chris… it could even be like an end of the yr raffle or put it towards the little guys open prizes…
helmet bags are always cool too… i like the gear bag idea ( they are always loosing their gloves/ pads etc would be nice to have it all in one place… lol maybe even get the winners name embroydered on it..?? who knows…
maybe have the state meeting schedule written somewhere on the new njbmx website? maybe even with the proposed ajenda so if anyone has info to bring up they can be prepared and make it more informative? even if its just a month and TBA so we know to look for a meeting coming up

track layout maybe drawing or pictures.. i know alot of riders like to see the track pics before they go. when we went to the fla races for the first time dan was looking for recent track pics ( he likes to see the layout). its nice to be able to see it ahead of time…
pics of riders from ea weeks race. i love that cj has the pics up there for parents to see and use if they like. they are only young once and as a parent i know the value of having someone take decent pictures and it keeps the kids themselves looking on the site as well( not just for the parents) an added plus if they are FREE! lol
simple navagation of the site with easy to find schedule. i like on cj’s site you can see if the race is on or off right away…no hunting needed if the weather is iffy… great job!
rider of the week possibly on the front page? a little bio on him/ her to make it special? maybe a free hotdog at concession?? we used to do that on our jr wrestling website every week pick a different kid. (He also got a free hot dog/ ffries at a local deli who sponsored the wrestler of the week) we would post the pic up on the bulliten board also- it was quite an honor…
i agree the 10 locals are alot to get in when the tracks are closed for the nationals. but i also agree with jimmy that the purpose of 10 locals is also to keep the experienced riders racing locally which benefits all the riders…once an older expert goes to locals and finds no one his age there racing he may think why should i go?? theres no one to race. so i like to see the older guys keep racing locals (even if its an open or pit bike or whatever race)
lets try whatever we can to grow the local scene. i must admit getting the 10 locals in was really hard and dan had to actually do a pre race ( at pottstown) first time in 5 yrs to get an extra local in but then again at the championship there were what only 3 in his class who qualified??
let everyone race the championship in class. esp the younger guys. seeing the 5 and unders standing around at flemington watching was not good. lets try to make sure everyone can race regardless whatever rules need to be made.
agree with making the championship worth more points just like the hyper pro am final was. great idea!!

jimmy didnt you get a special licence years ago when we did the njr team? i remember dave got all our team guys the special nbl rate/ and we converted it to full license.. back before the “clash” race?
give dan a call we can carpool or arrange something… others may also need a ride… its late in the day so you can work if you like…

SE PK ripper, HYPER uniform and some other goodies will be raffled off. The raffle money is going to the PRO/AM purse, so if you want to see some of the EAST COAST’S fastests riders tear it up, drop some money in the bucket!!!!
The PRO/AM will start @ 6:00, so all riders must check in by 5:40 so we can throw the motos together. $10 dollars to get in on the action.
Pit Bike race, track backwards race will be inbetween the PRO/AM rounds. Dad’s race, Mom’s race, if you have any other ideas for entertaining races, let me know!!!!
Work Party Thursday!! I really need some help to work on the track for this big weekend.
