i dont know the specifics chris but they usually let you substitute a state race for a local if you are only short one local. (that is if you have more states you are not using)
can anyone report when hc will finish taking nominations since we didnt finish at the last race?
now we need a nomination meeting then an election meeting. personally i would like to find out how elections will be done ahead of time.
if someone can post here after confirming with the current board when the meeting will be held? last i heard it was supposed to be at the library. the question is when? many ppl are interested including people who would like to be nominated.
not having to race class to race open would be a good start… i know its an nbl rule but maybe its time for a change?

i can vouge for brett … he fell in practice tore up his hand i was there when he was being treated by the pottstown tracks medic( sorry i forgot her name) kathy k was sitting there also… as i asked if he needed help and she got her medic bag out and was cleaning his wound. he couldnt race as he had the injury. if he was on the moto sheets and already registered it is not the same as registering and not showing up at all….. he should be given last place (or at least last place +2??) im sure our state clerk could check with the nbl office to see if an exception can be made?? its not like he wasnt qualified or anything right?
i am interested in knowing who exactly thinks they have not brought anything to the table and when was this said? at a formal track meeting? was this recently or when.
lately i am of the thinking that if someone says something about another track or person trying to help a track let them back it up with facts. not this he said she said crap. i am sorry but i have heard so much garbage lately its pathetic. if somoene has a beef with anyone from trilogy or any other track say it in public out in the open not behind closed doors like a coward… but be prepared to back it up with facts…from now on if someone tells me something i want proof…for example if you say this track is taking riders from another track where are the numbers? how many riders? dont speak of something that you imagined or starting rumors that dont exist. you can make stuff up as you go along to satisfy ppl without proof to back it up. if you are non profit then lets see the papers. if you say you spoke to the nbl/aba who did you speak to? lets have it documented if it is at all true. this isnt fantasy land ….
oh and besisdes volunteering loally whenever they are at nj tracks if you do any nationals you will see the trilogy park folks there as well.. anyone go to the grands? who spent the weekend under the nbl tent at the finish line??? enough said.

it used to be that you had to wear the state jersey to be used on the president cup state team( if they used you on the team sheet) maybe its changed since then???
i liked it as bitd when we used to have 60-70 some odd riders it was cool to be able to cheer for the nj riders from the stands..you couldnt miss them…
plus if you are there racing why wouldnt you get a jersey if the state pays for them anyway? i dont get it.

there was absolutely no negative from an older rider or older riders parents perspective.
i can honestly say for dan if the series did not come to be he would be racing in ct this yr instead of nj. he would want to go race where his class was, where he can get competition and where he can better himself(having more than 2-3 his age/or in open). nj was not offering that as was shown last yr by the lack of participation by the older riders on a regular basis.
the year before last he was talking about doing the pa series instead of nj( more older riders participating than in nj)
i would dare those who scoffed at this idea to come out at the state meeting and share with the rest of us what was the negative?? give me 3 reasons why it was a bad idea? i doubt anyone could come up with one. prove me wrong.

no definite say so as to the date which i think should have been chosen already…’
is it after the state awards?
will ppl be saying they cant stay and have to leave “right away” should it be on a different day so the younger riders will be home with babysitters( as to not have a reason to be in a hurry?) or a separate date?
all valid points. having it on the day of the awards when most are there is convenient as long as ppl stay and are not in a hurry ( remember- they will be there all day)is it better to have on a separate day with no other activities where you can focus your atten in one place( being some of us are all over the place…lol)
some things to think about…
i for one would like to know WHAT is the DATE of the MEETING?
yes …they go way back.. i remember them being regulars at flemington even though they were out of state….
i dont think justin was out of diapers back then…lol
