No offense taken. Figured that since most of the resurfacing and stuff had been done in Dec. to allow cure time, that with the recent damage, most work would go unnoticed.
Rich is a great guy, and I know he wouldn’t put the track down.Rich: I noticed you said that “the track wasn’t in bad shape for not having anything done to it.” Unfortunately, Les is out there nearly every Saturday, and he and some of the crew had done quite a bit. The fools (for a polite way of naming them) have undone most of what was done.
Les will be there this Saturday.
Linda will be there Sunday. (Les has to work)Last weekend was just a Board Meeting. The General Meeting has not been scheduled. We’ll try for something shortly after Comp. Congress.
You can suggest it, but it would not be part of the State Series. I think there might be things in the works (I don’t have any details) for the 16 & Over open at the Qualifiers and Championship. I know people were discussing it, but I was working on other items.
Egg Harbor is doing a 16 & Over Open series this year. Details to follow soon.
Roughly 1 race a month. Gotta race a certain number to race the final. Portion of monthly entry goes into final payout.

Actually, anyone can race the Championship, but only in open if they didn’t qualify.
We made qualifying super easy this year so we hope to see a lot more riders at the Championship. Even our most die-hard National riders (those who didn’t race much locally) made around 5-6 races last year.
Each track (3) runs about 30 races per season with most of them occuring before August 19th. So out of nearly 90 races, we figured every rider could make 5 and the Championship. And since of the 5 only 1 has to be a qualifier, that makes it even easier. It makes it real easy on the kids that start late too. Last year the kids that came in late in June or July were pressed to make the count, but this year it will be easy for them.
