Guys…
The state clerk, who does not have the authority to dictate what goes on at meetings, posts on a website that is not owned by njbmx, what the agenda is.
Have the past 3 years been lost on everyone here?
bmiddaughMembersee everyone on the 15th?
I hope everyone brings positive vibes and a can do attitude.
I mean look, Lee just volunteered to get the jerseys together at this late date, while everyone has been off not having meetings…lolbmiddaughMemberHere, in these forums, there is life for BMX, enthusiasm.
I see it every week at CJ, where the head guys there will sit for hours and talk BMX, (to the point that Vinny’s wife has to constantly call him)
If your heart isn’t into it like it used to be that’s ok, but at the top levels, the people in charge need to have a fire and drive to pull the engine forward, and they must have completely open minds.
For without that all is lost.Seperate committee meetings do not work, that has failed in the past. Monthly state meetings have not been done in quite awhile so it is time to try it again.
THERE IS NEW ENTHUSIASM AND THESE PEOPLE FEED OFF EACH OTHER BY MEETING FACE TO FACE.
well…most of them… zoinks..bmiddaughMemberridinlow are you eligible for any position this year?
I’m curious.
I’ve asked for an officials license a couple times…but I guess it gets put to the backburner.
It’s all good though, I’m having fun here.bmiddaughMemberI have personally tried
attending meetings,
talking to everyone,
pushing everyone who says, “I think I can”, to try. (Bill’s track)But there continues to be resistance to change by some people who no longer even have kids who ride or have ever even ridden themselves…
Let the new blood do what they want.
Our ideas must have some merit hence the jersey devil on the hoodies last year.bmiddaughMemberlol, state who you are ridinlow.
bmiddaughMemberDebbie pays entrance fees to the state and the local tracks and therefore is allowed to ask questions all she wants.
Just like the rest of us.
Not everyone has to be doing for BMX, it’s like asking you if you have picked up a rifle to defend your country this month ridinlow.
I think respectfully if you are going to ask someone what they have done for BMX lately, then you yourself should state what you have done for BMX lately.
If it is paying entrance fees ridin then you too should be allowed to ask questions.
Ant is right, me and him don’t hide behind screen names because we want to see things change.
Everytime someone says “what have you done for BMX lately” that’s like saying every kid who “just” rides his bike hasn’t done anything for BMX lately, and those kids deserve a voice just like those who run the tracks.bmiddaughMemberdid you beg him…
—bmiddaughMemberIt was
believe it or not…
in February.
The status quo got rocked heavily in January and I think some people got a little stressed about mixing up that pot again…bmiddaughMemberRemember there’s a new sheriff in town…
names Brett Middaugh..
ya all be cool.. —bmiddaughMemberBring Dan to the next meeting, I know 6 or 7 guys who will have his back. That’s the whole thing, if the guys who actually do it don’t want to get involved then you will never get any change that the riders want.
The only reason there is a pro-am is a bunch of riders pushed for it.September 7, 2007 at 12:16 pm in reply to: finally something outside the box from the sanction (ABA) #49899bmiddaughMemberaba has a lot of …BMXers running things…
hint.bmiddaughMemberDave, you’re confusing the plate chases with Rob giving something away for free….
bmiddaughMemberDave…
don’t you sass me boy!
😆
Ant should get that joke…. —bmiddaughMemberI would like to know how Dan feels about things as well, and I am hoping he is one of the guys who will voice his opinion on what can be done better next year at the pro-am.
At some point and I am not bashing Deb, the racers have to say, I’ve had enough, this is what I want to see happen.
When you’re 8, it’s mom and dad…over 15 or so and… -
