That would be an idea for another Open Series. This is for discussion of the Pro-Am, 16 and over. I am sure the NJBMX Board is open to new ideas.

when we change the rules next year to only making team sheets before the motos are posted and you have to pick 5 riders and stick with them all year barring accident or illness…

Then we’ll get some action,…

It was cool though this year seeing everyone into the different teams, seems like the guys got motivated off each other..

The persons considered for the award should never have been an active rider, as in have never shown an interest in trying to get on a BMX bike on a track.

Rich is the freakin man…but I put these rules up so we, (as in the riders) can say, these people do a lot for us and ask for nothing in return, excpet for us to have a good time.

Glen we could do a forum on the newjerseybmx.com site just for the pro-am registered riders, we just need to get the word out to all those guys and get them registered.
We could lock that forum down just to the people racing in the series so as not to get the occasional pain just wanting to bust chops.

4. I’d do it even though I sound wierd, but I can’t be everywhere….this is a tough one, lotta chatty people on here but put them in front of a crowd or a mic..

I will make a proposal for all the above for the next state meeting.. well except the announcer thing, lol, but we need to NOT BACK DOWN when people start to throw out crazy reasons that things are fine as they are.

The racing part of BMX in NJ has absolutely nothing to lose by trying things that are new, radical or really different than what they have done in the past….strike that, their past, many of our pasts go back much farther so we remember a time when many of the things we talk about were actually implemented….
