After fully reading all the BS that was put down about this episode, the show itself was actually bringing to light a horrible situation in, as usual, TV’s overly dramatic way.
I know the FCC regulates hardware but that is where all regulation should stop. We have parents when we are young and hopefully fully developed mature minds as we get older to steer us in the right direction.
Oprah can go on and on about any topic she wants, be it sexual or some idiotic interview with a celebrity but the FCC never bats an eye.
I do not like little fundamentalist groups attempting to impose their will anywhere, whether it be here or the middle east.I often ponder this question…if Pat Robertson or someone of his ilk could be allowed to just grab some military hardware and begin systematically imposing his religious views, would he?
bmiddaughMemberThis is my gals site..she’s an artist of rather different taste..

bmiddaughMemberSo, putting money into a scholarship fund constitutes being a pro?
This is no knock on Janeen, who knows the facts but being realistic, these idiot colleges offer all sorts of “incentives” to bring in top athletes.
Perhaps there is a way to take the “money” earned and put it into scholarship, travel accounts.
There is a way around everything, that is guaranteed.
On a different thought about sanctions…
Nationals should be cut down to at MOST 9 per year with a Grand National. This would boost local level racing and grow the sport. BMX is desperately in need of new blood running things instead of the old guard just keeping the status quo.
A sanctioning body that doesn’t care about Olympics, or only their national series but what is in the best interest of BMX racing. Are there no ex-BMXers out there with some venture capital? lol….bmiddaughMemberThere’s other sports besides BMX?
bmiddaughMemberSorry everyone, gonna have to wait one more day till I get this stuff up on the site…

bmiddaughMemberFirst off…
Leadslead, you rock for getting us that info, seriously man, you basically just blew the lid off the top of the bottom line for the NBL (a NON PROFIT, LMMFAO) and ABA.
I’m so pi**ed right now that it’s unreal!
The beginners are for the local tracks to grow BMX and the freaking sanctions are just stuffing that money in their bottom line, and f the grassroots scene.
OK, it’s obvious BMX now needs a new sanctioning body run by some people who understand and have the ability to grow BMX in the PROPER manner.
I’m serious this is unreal!hehe…wiener class…
Hmmm, I might qualify for the whiner class…. -
