oh and thanks for answering the question without reading any spitefullness into it!
and…
I didn’t know the ABA was near bankruptcy at one point, as such, it takes a very big set of brassies to pull a company out of the big B and bring it back.
Things become clearer…bmiddaughMemberJust wondering…being realistic about things, if we look at the ABA and NBL.
The ABA is more professional hands down. I was sorta wondering Clayton’s motivation for that ring, I’ll be honest Bill, if it wasn’t for your endorsement of Clayton, I’d be suspicious of all the B.S. out there. Gold rings aside, it’s obvious that the ABA plows money back into it’s racing program. They are up to date and 21st century with everything.
The NBL seemed focused on the Olympics, a noble goal, but one that now seems sorta of not needed with all the other outlets racing could go to if it was MARKETED properly.
I still wonder where money goes in the NBL because we are using an anitquated DOS based race program, and it’s basically an all volunteer organization.
It’s just that both these guys Bob and Clayton have been in it for so loooongggg, that it feels like racing needs a changing of the guard.
Something is amiss in BMX racing land and after looking in a lot of places, the only place I haven’t peaked yet is upper level sanctioning body land…where all our hard earned sheckles go…bmiddaughMember😆
bmiddaughMemberNJ case law has shown that if you give someone permission to to do something they realize is potenially dangerous, and has risk, they are responsible for what happens after.
Ding Ding!
Yes!
That is law my friends, it’s one of the reasons we use to get bikes into public skateparks.bmiddaughMemberSounds good, I can transfer it over to digital. Thanks!
bmiddaughMemberOk, Farside is here, I’m sure he’s hunting the net for pictures of Flipper, so I’ll just step out now and let you guys have fun. 😆
See you fellers on Tues. Now that I know where all the small rocks are near the gate, I’ll be able to get a better start.
Part 1 of my plan is complete.
Part 2…
is to stay up.bmiddaughMemberlmao!!!
bmiddaughMemberboth
I must actually be starting to like racing again, cause I’m getting real anxious…bmiddaughMemberOh it’s all fun and games till some middle aged wacko flips the gate!
bmiddaughMemberI’ll be bok….
bmiddaughMemberbmxer and Craig are on it..
I could use help with the bike he’s riding….bmiddaughMemberWow, that is a gorgeous scoot Paul…
We gotta have a real good old school get together at one of the races…
Maybe we should put it up for the regional at howell…bmiddaughMemberat the very least, once an ex, never ever a beginner again…
man…some of the crashes I saw in that 17+ Beginner class last year, 😯bmiddaughMemberhmmmm, he did race for Hutch at one point…
bmiddaughMemberQuick injection of comedy…
Jess, if the almighty NBL says this is a no go what makes you think that the idea has any merit at all. 😉I don’t understand, how will this idea get us to the Olympics?
The real question is…
What are we going to call the new rider started sanctioning body. -
