We can’t even get our tracks website updated. They still have the banner for open house back in May.Matt’s heading down on Wed morning with friends and I’m flying down on Fri night.

I never even though of it. I know that they want to go see a few of Matt’s races. And also to checkout Pottstown and Howell. It probably won’t be for a couple weeks though. We’re going to try to get them up to New Paltz for the State quals there next Saturday.

Thanks 😀 I really don’t think I’m old enough to be called Gramps yet (42) but he will be a future rider. Matt already wants to start looking at minis for him. 🙄

I’m not sure where the exact location is in Ringwood. They (the Lenape Indians) own property ajacent to Ringwood State Park.
West Milford is only about 10 minutes away though. I’ll try to nail down the exact site in a couple days and keep you posted.OK, They had the council meeting this past Saturday. It was voted and approved to either use the land in Mahwah or some property they have in Ringwood. But either way the next step is getting the NBL in to look at both properties and see what would work best.
I like the Ringwood area better. The access isn’t as quick from the highways as the Mahwah area would be. But the Ringwood property abuts Ringwood State Park So there may be a chance of getting more property to be used for camping/parking for large events.
We haven’t had much time this week to look or talk to anyone. My daughter Jennifer’s baby is due today and the contractions have started. So that’s delaying some contacts a little.
But either way this track looks like it may actually happen.Jeff is a hell of a nice guy. John McDowell sends his props out to him.

Matt has eggs with that skillet meals stuff mixed in. (bacon, peppers, onions, cheese) and a banana. During the races he either eats Clif bars or bananas. And alternating Gatoraide and water. He also takes a good multi vitamin and Glutemine tablet each morning.

Pat’s a good kid. Just from talking to him, he wouldn’t do it intentionally. They were both going for the same piece of track.
The kid that went over has a rep for doing the same thing to other kids. He put my son down hard in the first turn at P -town. In my video he could have passed clean on the exit of the turn. Instead he slowed and came up into Matt. Matt had a choice of going over the berm or dumping the bike. He chose to dump it. Luckily it was only cuts and bruises. I don’t understand that stuff. I always taught him “If the move is there take it, but take it clean.”Clint
Thanks for having a great facility. That’s the reason that I had Matt’s mom come down to look at it. So she has an idea of what a track should look like when they get moving with the one in Mahwah, NJ
