Again, should have been hashed out already. Wether they made demands of Bob, to get them what they need or looked at it carefully, and planned ahead for the short comings
February 9, 2007 at 1:53 pm #39520bmiddaughMemberBob….Frapples?
February 9, 2007 at 2:03 pm #39522BMXspectatorMemberYou don’t have to demand this from Bob. It will be given out to all the tracks at congress. They have a class to show you how to run the new system. But will they use it at the Jack Frost is the million dollar question?
February 9, 2007 at 2:35 pm #39523RaidenHaydenMemberYou missed the point, demand a little continuity in the program, or an earlier release of the program.
The ages between locals and Nats don’t match up
The oints system between the two don’t match up
To a new riders parents, this must look totally disorganized. Just another nail in the coffin for BMX
February 9, 2007 at 2:39 pm #39525bmiddaughMemberI’m guessing no.
Software nowadays is very easy to run.
I would imagine it should be a breeze to run the new nbl wares.
As opposed to the old GARBAGE.
Unhook the printer and tell it to print so you can get a text file to put on a webpage..man….Print to html…
PRINT TO ADOBE ACROBAT….
and for those of you wondering…
if you put a password in an adobe document it becomes impossible to change it.
of course, you could always just retype the document and do it in word and change it anyhow…
ya know what, I am tired of arguing over STUPID issues.
There is a better way.
WE know what it is.
It is 2007, if you think we are bad, wait till the next generation comes up which is used to instantly getting information. They are gonna blow your mind, all we need to do is get them off the couch.February 9, 2007 at 2:43 pm #39527bmiddaughMemberhttp://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/adobepdf.html
Read up.
Open your mind.
Learn to live without fear of change or the unknown.February 9, 2007 at 2:55 pm #39530guinnessextremeMemberOk, I think we have all come to the conclusion that we NEED to use the new points system on the state and local level. Lets make sure it happens and not accept any excuses. This may require some work. Tracks may require new ‘puters. Think globally, act locally and make it happen. Anyone know what system requirements are for the new software?
February 9, 2007 at 2:59 pm #39531bmiddaughMemberany puter runnin windows 2000 or newer.
basically if its a computer built in the last 4 years, it’ll run it.
and probably be able to do photoshop at the same time.
also, it uses a laserjet printer. The computer needed to run this software can be bought for about..
300 bucks.Someone needs to get this software so we can
TRAIN AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO RUN IT.
AND if it starts crashing and screwing up, which it shouldn’t because it has been in development for like 7 years, then people need to speak up.Florida is “testing” the new system.
Yo man, like who runs the nbl?
I’m sick of being someone’s….b**chFebruary 9, 2007 at 3:20 pm #39532guinnessextremeMemberOr inkjet I assume? I got two of em taking up space at my house…
