Some of you may remember last year, when I would mention how Florida does their website and how great it was and easy to get info on everything..
For those of you who haven’t seen it..
http://www.floridabmx.com/
I told everyone we needed that, and if you look at the front page of BS.net you may notice similarities.
Since BS.net does not intend to align itself with any one particular area of BMX we go a bit beyond “just racing”.
What I’m getting at is, when I promise I’m gonna do something, I’ll figure out a way to do it. I’m not always sure how the heck I’m gonna get there, or even if it’s possible, but I will always be saying why the f not, let’s try.We need more tracks and places for kids to ride BMX bikes.
We need to get into schools and promote BMX in a positive manner. Those are my 2 big agendas right now, and I’m hoping I can count on a few of you to help me figure out how to pull off this monumental task.

June 1, 2006 at 4:16 pm #311881adam12MemberMy question is how well are you gonna scan riders for these shows..I mean it is a bit hypocritical for riders to preach no drugs to kids and on the way out light up a blunt. You know what I mean….I think that has been one of the biggest problems with “The Positive Image” of the so called sport….The do as I say not as I do mentality………Kids are not stupid……
Just a little input……..
June 1, 2006 at 4:34 pm #31190bmiddaughMemberWe’ll do what we always do.
The best we can..
I don’t always rider with a helmet, but I tell kids to wear ’em when they’re riding… 😉June 1, 2006 at 5:32 pm #31198RaidenHaydenMemberTHe shows were to preach BMX, not about not doing drugs
June 1, 2006 at 6:08 pm #31202bmiddaughMemberThe shows should be , wear your safety gear when riding, blah blah…don’t be afraid of challenges, yadda yadda, these guys aren’t. For more info about BMX contact…
LOL, saying Don’t do drugs, is like saying, “get out there and get wasted immediately”…tell a kid not to do something and well….
we were all kids once weren’t we?, we know how an overbearing authority figure can just make you want to do the wrong thing..June 1, 2006 at 6:13 pm #312041adam12Member@RaidenHayden wrote:

June 2, 2006 at 11:48 am #312341adam12MemberBrett.for you this one time …….maybe………..but you are looking to deep into it……I think the main reason bmx/freestyle is not widely accepted till this day is because of the bad rep a lot of the riders give it…..Including myself at times…..If you want to get parents into bmx taking away the bad elements is a good start…………That’s it that’s all………..Happy Leif Erickson day
