Also, this is the perfect time to reflect upon how our modern culture is owned by large corporations in a similar fashion to how medieval culture was owned by the church
Ya see, Jack Valenti (google the name) passed away this week, and the guy who said the above was not a fan of Mr. V.. Jack could be a whole thread by himself.
But I think that quote really sums up where we are at in the world at this exact moment.
The world is owned by large multi-national corporations if you don’t think so, you have your head stuck in the sand. I am sorry but it is true.
The word “lobbyist” needs to be struck from the political vocabulary.How about putting ” in the best interest of the people” back in their thougth process
