Google old tracks

I thought we had a thread for this already but I dunno. to lazy to do a search.

Here’s the google of the Old Millville Fairgrounds track circa 1980.
They had the track inside the oval.
Dont know of any of those sandy lines are part of the old layout.
I only raced that track once or twice.

There was a previous Millville track Im not sure of its location but it ran in 1979. My mom drove so I really didnt pay much attention. Maybe rich or someone can point it out.

Lawrenceville 1979-8? – NBL
Behind the building on Rt 1, where the grassy field is now.

Look for the sandy spot center page thats the old track location.

I wonder why most of these tracks closed.

I went thru all my old flyers yesterday.

Millville in one of them just said “sorry we are forced to close the track before the regular season ends- therefore the State Championships are being moved to Lawrenceville”
Im sure a city lease or issue came up maybe a lawsuit.

Lawrenceville I remember Marty said he couldnt put up Lights cause the neighbors behind the track thru the woods were complaining. Maybe that was it or the PBA (Police Benevolant Association) lease on the spot ended.

Flemington just moved to the Hunterdon location.

Vineland I heard rumors of mismanagement.

Woodbury Im sure closed when it moved to Deptford, hrmm ill do a google search for that old track now.

Ok is this were the Woodbury track was? just above the “Fairway Court” street off Salem Ave? My memory fails me.
