February 24, 2007 at 12:37 am #40317bmiddaughMember$620.10 new NJBMX computer to run state series and new software (currently NJBMX does not have its own computer, but uses EHT)
Since the clerk and referee are reimbursed almost 800 dollars to do their volunteer work at the state races.
Why does nbl njbmx not find some people who are already at the races to do this, saving them reimbursement fees.
And paying for a new laptop.
This would free up money FOR THE RIDERS.February 24, 2007 at 12:42 am #40319RaidenHaydenMemberYou would think being a volunteer org, that using the same resource amongst themselves would be a way to save money. In this age of always updating comps, I would think someone has an lod desk top that could be put in the trailer, as that is now getting money to get fixed. If it is going to be used, it can haul an older desktop around, with a few upgrades it should be all it needs (the computer)

February 24, 2007 at 12:51 am #40323RaidenHaydenMemberAgain, the focus shoudl be on getting new riders first, increasing your income, so as to support your future endeavors, without needing more grants. Not a spending spree for new goodies.
Promotional Materials
Awards (really good ones)February 24, 2007 at 1:32 am #40329bmiddaughMemberA business does need start up capital.
But in order to grow a business, you need to market it.
No marketing, no new money coming in.
Where to market effectively is always a question.
But if you can get marketing material for free, then the answer is to blanket market.ALso, you need to play up to your target demographic, in our case a 10-16 male rebellious teen.
Our market is not parents it is kids.March 4, 2007 at 3:50 am #41053bmiddaughMembernuh uh guys,
you gotta play a little nicer to drop me in those committees there.
I built a website that was taken down.
and was removed from the forum.
I take official news from sites owned by njbmx.March 4, 2007 at 3:54 am #41054RaidenHaydenMemberNow what?
March 4, 2007 at 3:55 am #41055bmiddaughMemberLife goes on.
March 4, 2007 at 3:58 am #41056RaidenHaydenMemberIn that life cycle, that would mean more of the same crap, that is if I’m translating right
March 4, 2007 at 4:02 am #41057bmiddaughMemberLife….evolves.
We are evolving.
Starting now.March 4, 2007 at 4:02 am #41058bmiddaughMemberThe riders of the 80’s and 90’s have come of age.
March 4, 2007 at 4:10 am #41060bmiddaughMemberHere’s another for those who come here and are afraid to speak.
You have a good man among you named Loren Hamblin.
He wants to see things done right.
Why don’t you follow his example, put your egos to the side, learn humility and when you have done wrong and go out and be
good people.
Learn to laugh at yourself and your foibles, like we all do right here in the open every day. -
