Yeah but we knew this, they haven’t a clue, and now what? Should the track not get finished it time, what about the Jack Frost? At this moment, is the track raceable? If not those clowns need to get on the ball,
December 8, 2006 at 4:14 pm #37692bmiddaughMemberLook, I talked to Jessica, (jaylamoon) and she was all defending them and I softened her up to the point that she said she could get a meeting between all of us.
I also said to her, just tell les to loosen up and get the guys the machines they need.Use the 1,000 and do it right.
I am guessing nothing has come of that, cause no one has the balls, to say WTF are you doing?I will say this right now, when CJ does its track changes I will make damn sure that it is posted here, cjbmx.org and if the site is allowed to be up njbmx.org.
with a plan

and writeup as we go along.December 8, 2006 at 5:49 pm #37694RFarsideMember@RaidenHayden wrote:

No the only thing you can ride on is the last half of the track. From the gate to the second turn the only thing that you could call finished is the first jump. There were plenty of pictures taken and there was to be a report of the progress but I have yet to see that.

Her dad had something to do with the track at some point.
December 8, 2006 at 5:52 pm #37696bmiddaughMemberRich, in your professional opinion is this because there is not enough people there to help or they do not have the proper equipment to do the job?
Bill,
How long and how many people does it take to build an aba track for a national?December 8, 2006 at 5:56 pm #37697RaidenHaydenMemberBrett
I always did local type tracks, not single event ones. That being said, one guy on a machine (rubbber tire loader), a bunch of people to rake, and somebody towards the end to roll THREE FREAKIN DAYS MAX, usually if all is there two, dirt and so onDecember 8, 2006 at 5:59 pm #37698CavemanMemberDealing with Les is rough. Their pa system is dying and he needs to go BUY some new stuff instead of picking stuff out of the trash from the casinos. He has a real aversion to shelling out money to do things the right way. And I’ll imagine that’s what Rich is finding trying to get the track work done.
December 8, 2006 at 5:59 pm #37699RFarsideMemberI will make the easy. There were plenty of people there to help. But without equipment and dirt it will not happen. How many times can you ask for help only to get there and do nothing?
I have been running equipment for almost 20 years now. If you would give me the 2 pieces that I would need I could have finished this by myself in a week’s time.

The other thing, a rebuild is harder, as it means taking down and rebuilding the turns and then lining up the straights.
What your layout is
Where to stock pile while movingDecember 8, 2006 at 6:02 pm #37701bmiddaughMembereht will only be solved by dealing with les and linda directly.
This can’t be done by one person, whether it is Chris or Rich.If Dave, Whiley, Rich, s4lnj(Dave) all get together and roll up on les and say
“look, we want to fix the track right, we all talked and it seems a loader for 2 days will cost 1,000 and that is what we need. can eht supply the funds to get this done?”
If their reply is no.
Then you have to ask the question directly to them.
Why the hell not?Ya gotta push up on them…
December 8, 2006 at 6:03 pm #37702bmiddaughMemberRich….
quite frankly you are not mature enough to use a front end loader on a BMX track.
Sorry.😆
December 8, 2006 at 6:05 pm #37703bmiddaughMemberDealing with Les is rough.
Why?
WHY
WHY freaking why? What is the problem?
There are 5 in shape bad ass 35+ men here who know their shit and you are all being pushed around by an dude who is a fisherman!!!!I don’t hate les but he is stuck and needs some pushing…
December 8, 2006 at 6:07 pm #37704RFarsideMemberI just got a call from Les to see if I can make it down tomorrow. The first thing I asked was is there dirt and equipment there. He said the township dropped off 3 loads of dirt and one of there guys will be there with a loader for only 4 hrs. The problem with that is you have a 55 year old guy trying to build a track. And he wanted to know if I think we can finish.
December 8, 2006 at 6:08 pm #37705RaidenHaydenMemberThe prob is that Rich doesn’t listen like a good boy, where as Chris V does, the fact Rich jumped in the loader, showed Les that Rich had initiative, and DIDN’T NEED TO BE LED, Les is intimidated
