Something like this would be awesome Brett. A BMX track…no, but I would bet many kids starting here, would eventually make the leap to a bmx race. Where would it go. By the skatepark?

Also check out http://www.leelikesbikes.com/ for some “pump” track info. There is a state park on the site and the park has a sweet looking pump track.

I’m getting all the info together, that book looks like a good thing to get.
I sorta realized after the CJ meeting that what I envision doesn’t fully envision a BMX racing track. A place like a free ride park can encompass all the disciplines. Once I get all the info together and what I feel is a decent presentation, I am going to go the talk to the recreation dept.
Anyone who wants to give advice or an opinion PLEASE DO SO!
