February 12, 2007 at 2:12 pm #39666s4lnjMemberi love supercross season– i wish i could afford a dirt bike so that i could case those jumps too..
at anehiem 3 they had a flatland demo outside in the pits.
February 12, 2007 at 2:20 pm #39668RaidenHaydenMemberDave, become one with the bike, you can do it
February 12, 2007 at 2:35 pm #39671kevhMemberI think it would be really interesting to have a bmx race that was multiple laps. That is what makes the supercross so cool to watch, they battle for 20 laps and at any moment they could dump the bike.
their conditioning has to be at such a high level. I can’t even make it around the bmx track once at full speed, and those guys do what like 30 – 50 laps in 1 day, not including practice, and depending on if they qualify in the heat or lcq.
And Ricky is so short! How is he supposed to see over the steering wheel now?
February 12, 2007 at 2:36 pm #39672phantomMemberCaveman you got it going on like ULTRAMAN.I want to ride your secret training grounds.

February 12, 2007 at 3:23 pm #39679paulcMemberDave,
Those trails look great. I am planing on making some in the spring. What is the average height of the jumps and distance between them? Thanks
Paul
February 12, 2007 at 5:25 pm #39687CavemanMemberThanks, The jumps on that first straight starts out tiny like 6″ high and 2′ long and get bigger to like 2′ high and 6′ long and they’re tight as heck. When I first built it, it was retarded tight and I just couldn’t get through it. Had to tame it down. The second straight starts out around 4′ high and 12′ long and gets smaller. Not very big stuff. I hope to add some burly stuff this spring. I know you can’t wait for that, Pawlowski.
Sullivan. Which turn shall it be Sullivan? Which turn?
February 12, 2007 at 7:15 pm #39698s4lnjMemberi think i can do better than last time– i need to get over there soon anyway and learn some skills

February 13, 2007 at 2:25 am #39738phantomMemberCaveman are you gonna have a sprint trail race.
February 13, 2007 at 2:53 am #39742CavemanMemberDave, when you ride tight ass tight trails, you’re riding with the front wheel. But I gotta make some big jumps if I wanna whip it like Bubba. How big are these jumps at Egg Harbor I’m hearing about? Mmmmm, droooool. I gotta boost something.
I just realized the thread on my helmet visor screws are the same as a camera tripod mount. Can you say helmet cam? It’s on!
February 13, 2007 at 3:01 am #39745RaidenHaydenMemberDude, your head already weighs enough, without adding the weight of a camera. 😯
