09/30/06Catch the New England BMX 2006 “EXPRESS TO THE GRANDSâ€ÂÂ
by ABA StaffFor riders living in the northeast and looking for a way to Tulsa this November, check out the 2006 “EXPRESS TO THE GRANDSâ€ÂÂ. Originating in Massachusetts, a deluxe motor coach bus will pick up riders in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio for the journey to the 2006 ABA Grand Nationals.
Organizing a bus trip of this nature for the first time, a Massachusetts BMX dad, Dan Goodman hopes to provide the region with a more affordable means of getting to the Grands and have a lot of fun at the same time. According to Goodman, “The higher prices of fuel and air travel have made it tough going to the Grands this year. A charter bus trip with all things we’ve included and arranged is a terrific option for getting there.â€ÂÂ
A fare of $250 per person gets you round-trip transportation to the Expo Square in Tulsa., home of the ABA Grands.
For lodging, accommodations at a very special room rate are available through arrangements made with the popular Radisson-Tulsa. As a bonus, the Radisson will also provide the group with free shuttle service between the hotel and Expo Square. Even more, your stay at the Radisson includes free admission to their new indoor water park.
The deluxe motor coach is equipped with comfort in mind. Hours of DVD’s are sure to be a hit on the six onboard televisions.
“Several companies and businesses have sponsored this trip by helping with the marketing, refreshments, and many door prizes to be raffled off during the trip†Goodman explains.†You could win a pair of gloves or you could win a new frame…….its all up for grabs and all going to those on the bus.â€ÂÂ
For complete details on the 2006 EXPRESS TO THE GRANDS, visit the website at http://www.expresstothegrands.com or call Dan Goodman at 508-758-3155 or 508-930-9960.

September 27, 2006 at 4:21 am #35093ErickWeinstetterMemberI can tell you those are good trips.
I made the 80 Jag World Championships on a bus trip the Zeuners put together to Indy. That bus was packed and NJ represented.in fact the next year I moved to Cal and was shocked they didnt do that stuff out here, so I started BMX Travel Services with the purpose of holding those, but then found out you need something this 18 year old didnt have or know about credit and liscences etc lol.
Still think it would work in large metro areas like TX,CA,NY.
So dont hesitate if you want to make the US’s biggest race, sign up.
Otherwise 20 years from now youll be in the forums saying, ‘I almost went to the ABA Grands one year’. -
