I looked breifly for EHT but fogot where it was exactly so gave up but here is
If any of you live near Easton, PA In 1978-80 they had a NBL/ABA track in Saylorsburg PA. It was called Blaktrak (spelling?)
It was a very unrefined track, it was downhill though and had a cool left dropp off to the last left turn to finish straight. In 1989-90 I went back and looked for it (Saylorsburg Rt 33 north of Easton is a tiny spot) and found it, still there!!!
The skatepark (all blacktop was gone). The house on the street were u entered the property looked abandioned. You went up a dirt road then it curved slightly to the left and there behind the tree line was the track.
Even the announcers tower was still up (near the finish line).I had left a note on the door of the house but they never called (If anyone lived there even). It was 2 far for me to go back, now I wish I had.
Anyway I bet its still there, just waiting to be reopened 🙂
Just think a downhill with tons of parking space for a national or big race. Just no hotels near by, so dont think it would ever get one.
But if you loved Craigmuer(NJ) and York(PA), then this track will make you druel.Craigmeur, NJ

As far as I can see the old track was probably where the odd shapped parking area is just above the words Green Pond.September 10, 2006 at 11:25 pm #34497bmiddaughMemberholy sh*t!
