What rim is this?
It is the new Sun Envy.

No info on the web site ??
This rim is not in the states as of yet. I should have a set in 2 weeks or so. They will be available in Black, Red, White, and Blue.
RFarsideMemberThat was the same response I got when I asked about being a track director.

Answer is expensive and cassette.
The Answer Alumilite-Ti Mini Wheelset
is by far the best little guy wheel on the market today. The complete wheelset is only 2.6 lbs and is worth every penny.Sun will have there new rim out in the next week or so. It is lighter and stronger then the rino lite and will be available in 5 different colors.
RFarsideMemberI asked Mike if there was going to be any changes for 08 and he said they are leaving it alone for this year.
RFarsideMemberI try not to look for results or what happened at the race before I get a chance to see it first. I stumbled on the post about Bubbas knee today by accident. I like watching both Bubba and CR go at it now that RC is gone.
RFarsideMemberI just read that Bubba pulled out of the race last night with pain in his left knee. Can CR take advantage of this and get another win?

its just that i didnt understand if it was to be used exclusively for the pro am? was that the intention in the beginning?
No the PA system was to be used for the State series not just the Hyper Pro Am.
RFarsideMember@moderator1 wrote:
Wasn’t the PA system bought for the state series?
The PA system was bought with the money from the grant and was supposed to be used at all State races. The PA system was used at all of the tracks except HC. This will be addressed at the February State meeting.

Aren’t the tracks running a state series?
No the State should be running the State series. The tracks just host the event for that day.
RFarsideMemberAnt I wasn’t referring to the riders. You need to bring the people who will be involved in running this series to the meeting.

It can be done and theres alot of people out there that are interested in this.
Again bring all the people who will be involved with this open to the next State meeting on February 2 and present your ideas to the board. This is where you will need to start.
RFarsideMemberIf you want to make changes you can bring all this all up at the next State meeting on February 2nd.
Here is something for the 15& under crew to think about. One of the big hang ups in the 16& over Pro open was you had to race class to be able to race the open ($40.00 in entrance fees). How many of the 15 & under parents are going to be willing to pay the extra it will take to run this open?
RFarsideMemberYes the rumor is true.
RFarsideMemberHe was going for 360’ if he didn’t have that 6 to 10mph head wind, he had a good shot at it.
Trigger Gumm going 277’ and making it look easy.

Ever see this one? Watch where the bike ends up.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFyu-cUw6XU&NR=1
RFarsideMember322’ hats of to Robby. Don’t know how many people realize what it took to clear that jump. Robby had to work his way through that parking garage to hit the jump going 90+mph. At the height of his jump he was 60’ in the air. Yeah he made it look easy but that’s what it’s supposed to look like when it’s done correct.
I know the football field jump was one of Seth Enslow goals, but look what happened to him when he tried 230’
