Here’s why.
Someone who’s heart isn’t in this completely or doesn’t see as Bill says “outside the box”. Will be at best a nuisance and at worst the destruction of NJ BMX.Now having someone who’s heart is into, has some balls, and some CONNECTIONS.
Think someone like Rich Farside.
It then becomes….
Hey Greg, It’s Rich…yea man, they voted me asst state commish, we’re looking for support next year can ya do anything?
(were do you think that would head)Hey J-Rich…yea man really asst state….can Haro do anything next year?
Clay, we snuck in man, Let’s get this stuff rolling.
Now…to the lay person.
We send Rich into ANYTHING. Anywhere to promote BMX .
Hi I’m Rich Farside, asst state commish for NJ BMX, I’m also a regional and national champion racer and father of a young lady who races, I’d like to talk to you about BMX racing today. Why put someone someplace where they are ineffectual?
Because the by-laws say so?
Change the FUREAKING by-laws….my god it’s BMX not the consitution!!!!HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 22, 2006 at 9:52 pm #36615RaidenHaydenMemberthank you for seeing why this is an important position. Change the bylaws to allow for any one to be voted in and we get a work horse like Rich, if he wanted it
November 22, 2006 at 9:54 pm #36616bmiddaughMemberMy g/f figured something out. If we get pushed there may be a way to fight this. I’ll post the details tonight but I will need some details on what went down at the voting from Dale.
November 22, 2006 at 9:56 pm #36618bmiddaughMemberum….wasn’t Dale eligible for the position?
How long have you been track rep bro?November 22, 2006 at 9:56 pm #36619RaidenHaydenMemberDude, I figured a way to, well change things, for the time being till a different path can be taken
November 22, 2006 at 10:10 pm #36621bmiddaughMemberGentlemen.
The asst state commisioner was not elected properly to his postion.732-300-7936
November 22, 2006 at 10:15 pm #36622bmiddaughMemberIn fact, from reading the by-laws. Almost everyone on the board could be taken from where they are, which is sorta sad. But if we stay calm and focused we can change what needs to be changed. I need Rich Carolan to help back me.

Section C. Nominations for the Officers shall be submitted at the REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING prior to the election meeting.Does anyone here remember any nominations being presented before everyone at the meeting we all attended?
I do not.
Article v
Section D. In the case of an unopposed candidate, the office shall be filled by one vote cast by the SecretaryAfter a phone call to Lisa (state secretary) I was informed she was basically told to “just vote” for Filippone as he was unopposed. No explanation was given as to the the power of her ONE vote.
Lisa and Jeff are the bomb! But I feel like someone was played here.
And FYI….the state commisioner has no vote , he only votes in case of a tie (and just so ya know, Scott voted for Vinny) BUT THE ASST COMMISH does. Come budget time we had best hope many people are on our side.
As it stands now…
Scott- No vote, unless a tie occurs
Filippone- vote
Nancy- vote
Lisa- vote
Janeen- EHT track rep?- vote
?? – EHT track rep?- vote
Dale- CJ track rep?- vote
??- CJ track rep? – vote
??- HC track rep?- vote
?? HC track rep?- voteTHIS DOES NOT WORK AS THERE CAN NEVER NOW BE A TIE AS THERE ARE 9 BOARD MEMBERS AND SCOTT CANNOT VOTE. WHAT THE FUCK?

To provide a slate of candidates, with written resumes, interested in running for the positions up for election. The slate and resumes will be presented at the REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING prior to the elections.I saw no resumes at our meeting.
In fact I’m the only idiot who ever even posted a resume anywhere for anything…and I did that as a joke…but….I have to pm someone.November 22, 2006 at 11:57 pm #36630bmiddaughMemberWho was the ONE person at the september meeting who said
“Do we have to go over the budget line by line?”
“I’m missing my naptime”Puppet?
I do not get this?November 23, 2006 at 12:03 am #36632RaidenHaydenMemberWho was that, I forget?
November 23, 2006 at 12:06 am #36633bmiddaughMemberJ Filippone…

November 23, 2006 at 1:20 am #36635bmiddaughMemberHonest opinion.
Now or wait till the meeting and say the election was held improperly and is void.
At the january meeting one of the first things will be to appoint the new people to their positions.
I can’t do this alone. Because I WILL get hammered. -
